QUOTE(johnnycp @ Mar 30 2007, 12:00 PM) Until u saw Waba's collection.. it makes my collection puny and meaningless.. His bricks conquer 4/5 of his lair. Even the boxes and bricks containers stacking from floor to ceiling. Infront of PC countless of bricks lying around until u not enough space to move ur mouse. Still in the process of working towards owning a NXT set in next few months. I have an old Mindstorms RIS 1.5 which i bought a few years back and together with a few technic sets which i've collected over the years. Ever since i bought the Mindstorms, i started to collect mostly technic sets to complement the Mindstorms.Heh, i didnt know waba is so crazy about lego too.... he collects mostly minifigs and pirate ships, medieval castle, etc as well ? btw.. how far u have gone with ur mindstorm collection?? One of the reason i like the Mindstorms so much is because the things you can create and do with them is limitless.......it's only limited by your imagination...... And the youtube link u sent me says it all I wonder what project will they do next time... maybe LEGO robots that build LEGO factory to build LEGO car ?? |

Try LeoCAD.
http://leocad.org/index.htm You may want to import the latest NXT parts into LeoCAD as well. http://www.philohome.com/nxtleocad/nxtleocad.htm |

QUOTE(designer69 @ Jun 5 2007, 10:22 PM) I'm not really a fan of Bionicle but I do play with its theme titles. I like its shooting parts and the little toa minifigs. Hey designer69, mind showing us some pics of your collection ?Since you'll be in brickboys tomorrow.....do check and see if the Aqua Riders are here. Allan told me that it'll be here within this 2 days... Meanwhile, here's a very inspiring and touching video involving Lego:- http://youtube.com/watch?v=bzSBDOfmkx8 |

QUOTE(kumyen @ Jun 17 2007, 02:10 AM) i do collect mostly Technics I just read from Brickjournal 8 that LEGO is coming out with a new R/C motor system for high power applications and it looks very promising. They even have charts comparing the new and the old motors and new ones are really powerful...and just bought a Technic motor which from 1990 from a LEGO fan. but the wire is melt d due to the age of 17years+ so i change the wire and it still run pretty good!~ with a motor is a great addition to technics. Added on June 17, 2007, 2:14 am errr..... how u mean by "betteR" all lego brick come from denmark's lego factory 1... : Before the new motors come out, the one u just bought was the only choice we have back in the early 90's. The downside about the old motor is the high speed/low torque, meaning most of the time you need to gear it down for practical applications. |

QUOTE(johnnycp @ Jun 18 2007, 01:14 PM) Snowmobile cost around 40AUD I got it from Toys'R Us for RM170 plus a RM25 voucher. So to me it is quite reasonable. Although LEGO is a bit overpriced here but if the amount is not very big then it's still ok. However if you're planning to buy in bulk then of course you should get it somewhere else.http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=8272&cn=57&d=70 you should ask Redeye to get for you. i remember here sell around RM250. it is overpriced |

QUOTE(johnnycp @ Jun 18 2007, 07:41 PM) It's from Toys'R Us. If i remember correctly, it's only until the end of this month as the voucher will expire on beginning of July.If you buy more than RM150 worth of toys, you get RM25 voucher; more than RM250, you get RM50. Nice little outpost you have there BTW. |

The voucher is valid for goods redemption only, not for discount.let say i dont have any discount voucher now, if i go and buy a LEGO set, can i use the discount voucher to make a discount immediately? or i'll be able to get a discount on my next purchase?
