850 auto is the nightmare of nightmares, it's so underpowered it will make u commit suicide (if the high speed traffic doesn't kill u first)

If want to drive Kancil Auto, buy 850 manual.. get a L2S 12V N/A fuel injection Auto half-cut and transplant everything to your car using back 850 block!
Then you will get L2S 850cc 12V fuel injection engine + 4-speed auto.. (JDM L2S/L5 Mira mostly auto gearbox is 4 speed) ![]() Fuzz free option.. Better buy Kelisa 1.0.. Now below 20k can get very good condition 1.. By the way, i am using L502 turbo kancil.. Already using it for around 4 years no issue also.. Most important is dont mod kau kau & always rajin to maintain the engine oil as turbo OCI is 50% faster compare to N/A engine.. Currently using 10W-40 Semi, changing it every 3500km.. Do you have the discipline & $$$ on maintaining it? This post has been edited by littlefire: Apr 2 2012, 11:02 PM |

yeah that part no worries , i usually service and top up engine oil always on schedule and check the level every week hehehe
yeah i tot of option for the kelisa but 20k .... not really worth it , better just top up alittle more get a new car hehe i tot L5 got lots of problems ,the engine by it self also very hard get parts |

secondhand value for kelisa is fairly high as its a good car.
I'd take a used kelisa anytime over the kancil. Mind you the Japanese didnt make these 850cc engines. I'm not sure if it was rebored froma 660cc or sleeved from a 1000cc engine ![]() |

Then u will realize why got so much problem... yeah i tot of option for the kelisa but 20k .... not really worth it , better just top up alittle more get a new car hehe i tot L5 got lots of problems ,the engine by it self also very hard get parts Mine mostly original from half-cut.. Almost 4 years engine no issue... A lot of mechanic i hate to say purposely always urge especially those youth to mod turbo, upgrade here and there.. In the end, the mechanic can earn even more money as the engine always got problem, leak here n there.. By the way, L502 is DOHC 4 piston 16V timing chain engine.. So u have less parts to maintain compare to timing belt engine.. Half-cut are a lot nowadays for L5 compare to L2s, so scare what? ![]() This post has been edited by littlefire: Apr 9 2012, 12:45 PM |

Better buy a bigger car like Iswara 1.5 Auto. It costs less than RM8k.
