QUOTE(blacktrix @ Dec 19 2005, 09:51 AM) Sigh, she HAD to write me a letter. Detailing our friendship and all that crap. You can read the sordid details on Cupid's corner. frankly, I'm fed up with all this crap. Just have to more on, put the past behind me, and carry on being a Black Label Society member. i love the mtv for this....his voice when he shouts..ahhhh ahhh really song man!!!!This ladies and gentlemen, is the final stage of the break up. and I know quote the black label song that moved my decision: Blind me. Erase what was. Stillborn. I have become. the Feelings I once felt are now dead and gone. I've waited here for you for so very long. So empty Just a shell of a man. stillborn. This I understand. the Feelings I once felt are now dead and gone. I've waited here for you for so very long. I've waited here For you. for you. oh i would suggest tom petty and the heartbreakers - i wont back down This post has been edited by thefryingfox: Dec 20 2005, 10:52 PM |

Awww, I'm going thru the same thing as you are. My choice is
Heroes - Wallflowers (hey you may be leaving me but I'm still a hero!) One Headlight - Wallflowers (I'll make it even if I have only one functioning headlight, i.e. I lost my other functioning half) Leather Jacket - Ben Folds Five (Cos things like this don't happen, and things like these don't fade away, but sometimes they do) Well those are my choices cos I'll always love her. If you hate her this one is great. Song for the Dumped - Ben Folds Five (lol) I forgot this one, currently its playing. Bizzare Love Triangle - New Order (I'll always be there for her if she needs me. Everytime I see you falling I get down on my knees and pray) This post has been edited by dishwasher: Dec 20 2005, 11:32 PM |

Well you're not alone, I'm sure Zakk himself digs the mellow stuff too and has a huge respect for Sinatra heh.
Hey, Mick from Slipknot once said that he rarely listens to heavy stuff when he's offstage lol. |

Seriously, when breaking up it's best to hear thrash songs. Makes you forget the whole thing faster.

Another one of my favorite was a song that was written by Trent Raznor of NIN that was covered by Johnny Cash entitled Hurt(which after Cash did, Trent said that song is not mine anymore
The mtv for this song was also named the best video of the year by the Grammy Awards and Country Music Awards in 2003. Once you see the video...you would have an emotional rollercoster. one of my all time favorite song lyrics is so powerful..and vengeful THIS IS THE BEST BREAKUP SONG!!!! dont believe me? try it I hurt myself today to see if I still feel I focus on the pain the only thing that's real the needle tears a hole the old familiar sting try to kill it all away but I remember everything what have I become? my sweetest friend everyone I know goes away in the end you could have it all my empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt I wear this crown of thorns upon my liar's chair full of broken thoughts I cannot repair beneath the stains of time the feeling disappear you are someone else I am still right here what have I become? my sweetest friend everyone I know goes away in the end you could have it all my empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt if I could start again a million miles away I would keep myself I would find a way |

Yeah..... Hurt is a great song...... But have to disagree on the trash songs..... it will be good for awhile, but not all the time..... makes you really angry and mad at the world.

Thrash songs give me headache in the long run, no good...
I prefer Johnny Cash's version of Hurt... far more depressing and the lyrics translate so well to Cash's life. Here's an album that will cheer anyone up : Tenacious D - Tenacious D |

Oooooooh.... Here's another:
Tenacious D - Kielbasa "I love you baby, but all I can think about is..... Kielbasa sausage.... your butt cheeks are warm...uhhhh" Tenacious D is great music for the final stages of the breakup... when you need to smile again. |

I sympathize with ur condition, but cheer up. There's more than one fish in the sea! Heheheh.
Instead of listening to songs, why don't u channel the emotions to create a beautiful piece? Insert tears and anger where applicable. |

Or you could go with Hilary Duff's So Yesterday
"If it's over, let it go. Come tommorow it will seem So Yesterday, So Yesterday. I'm just a bird that's already flown away......" Actually, So Yesterday is an AWSOME break-up song!!!! Thumbs up to Hilary! |

QUOTE(Pix @ Dec 30 2005, 03:11 PM) I don't like My Chemical Romance but hell, The Ghost of You sounded bloody good. That make the second MCR song i love after Helena. And all the wounds that are ever gonna scar me For all the ghosts that are never gonna catch me..." Personal siot...personal. How about Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire? "I fell into burning ring of fire I went down down down and the flames wents higher..." This post has been edited by chapree: Dec 30 2005, 03:30 PM |
