QUOTE(timothyy @ May 20 2012, 09:46 PM) That is called Gila. But again... every uphill, there is a downhill. Depending what kinda downhill you are referring to. QUOTE(kaizer @ May 20 2012, 10:09 PM) LOL... There's nothing that is not aggresive in DH bro. Have a trail walk in Kiara DH trails or PCP black trails. You're like bringing a fork to a gun fight Unless you're talking about descending rather than pure DH, then lain cerita lah. QUOTE(RayKazansky @ May 20 2012, 10:21 PM) I presume, his DH is like 2K kinda DH. Thanks for the honest reply guys. This is what i want to hear actually cause other people keep telling me just to get the bike cause its cheap. i ask em whether can tahan or not they all just say can -__- i actually really interested in DH but normal problem la no money budget only 3k something . i was thinking of getting a HT frame like the dartmoor hornet and fit it with a 150mm fork and just try go learn from that. any advice do u have for such noob fella here ? really appreciated it if u have some.

QUOTE(RayKazansky @ May 21 2012, 08:40 PM) DaBomb HT frame was used in one of the earlier urban DH competition. Maybe you can consider those kinda frame. QUOTE(tareh @ May 22 2012, 10:20 AM) EASY. you wanna do DH, then just concentrate on DH. dont fool around with AM or XC or like that. DH has a different skillset and mentality - so just focus on DH. secondly, about your budget. ok this is a tough one, but easily remedied. get a DJ frame and invest loads in wheelset. a marzochi DJ fork would do just fine. and a fullface helmet. here: http://www.bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=156488get that, then you can ride DH already. off course there's a reason why a full-sus bike + triple crown fork is required to ride DH, but that's when you are faster and when you are ready to take on bigger jumps like in the AU3 track (3 car length gap). so far kiara, pcp, dsara damai track everything can be tackled with a DJ bike. before you get the wrong idea of not doin other type of biking, what im trying to say is concentrate on DH and ride XC for leisure or when u need to work on stamina. not ride XC but try try cuba DH. like that both also you wont do. dress like gei in XC then wanna clear a gap with an XC bike. kanot. thanks for the replies guys. i really appreciated it much
