Erm guys,

If I were to look a bike around 4 ~5k price range, which gears / spec should I look for?

I came from road bike and have zero knowledge on MTBs..

Thinking into getting a new MTB or not.. But will cycle on road mostly instead..

Remain on RB is better based on your need

who said downhillbike can not do jamboree? Trek Garu, TransAm, SC Nomad, SC Blur LT, Kona Coilair, Spec Enduro and last but not least Titus Elguapo are all power bike. You don't need to pedal so much.

Speaking frome experience, I never encounter any issue using Sea Sucker (mini-bomber version). Previously I was using bike rack but sold it off after my car got scratched by the metal hook.

The pressure remain fine even after 20km ride. In fact, you can't even pull it off even the pressure is only half. You do not need to ensure the suction area is completely clean (Obviously it is better if you could). Basically I only spray the suction cup lightly with water before putting it on the car surface.
*
when you mount the 1st suction how do you mount the 2nd suction to make sure it fit your bike length?

I use the Chine-made MagicShine and highly recommend it. Review here.

Some people selling on BBS. Mine has the SSC P7 led. Very bright. No experience with the Cree XM-L led.
