Changing tube is much easier than using a puncture kit. For me at least.
Puncture kit is used when you're at home and, IF didn't leave the punctured tube in the middle of the trail (a lot of people do this and they SHOULDN'T), you patch it at home. |

QUOTE(majorsinbad @ Jun 14 2012, 12:13 AM) I dont think one can confirm the authenticity by looking at those photos ...Im just curious ...why would an individual seller sell a brand new frame? I second this. Lot of people want warranty because of this matter (cracked swing arm). What is the price of the swing arm eh if buy locally? And can you show the picture of the bent SLR here? Pics or GTFO Just something for you to consider ....the ASR5 has a Carbon swing arm...depending on your riding style it should be fine...there are a lot of riders out there using without issues...however there are those who reported they cracked the swing arm...if this happen without the warranty you are screwed ....this is the risk you ll have to take ... Theres a reason they categorize the bikes and the equipment....its to fit the purpose ...you know you re screwed when you use an XC bike/equip to do DH stuffs... Just today a friend of mine showed a picture of a bent Mavic SLR wheel ...this is a classic example where you abuse your equipment...even though its expensive (I think around RM2.5K a set) ...dont think its the best to do everything ...the SLR was meant for Racing XC....this guy used it to jump around Kiara ...go figure |
