why didn't you ask them for pics? they have a laptop that they use for correspondence between the HQ and it's branches. that's how i preordered my HT weapon set (although till now still no news) when they told me about it. anyway. it should be uploaded in their forum soon enough when the stocks arrive.
btw, xl forum was hacked. |

SWEET! My earliest and latest kitbash: SAS Operative Version 1 (middle 2004) and Version 2 (recently just last week).
Version 1: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The first SAS version was made before I had any knowledge of ordering/buying things online, so the parts available to me for this early kitbash of mine were extremely limited. Thus, I was able to achieve very miniscule results in terms of kitbash details and quality. Nonetheless, being one of my first, I'd say it ain't such a bad start. Version 2: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Compared to Version 1, Version 2 had shown just how much I had matured in this hobby, and, now that I have the knowledge of getting the best stuff online, plus the ever-increasing qualities of 1/6 items and accessories, I was able to do something that I couldn't imagine doing two years ago. Umm, greetings.
I stumbled upon this place by accident. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been buying 12" figures since DML first introduced them. Then when CY Girls were introduced, I mainly strayed to fem figs (some people think this is too weird). I also own some Star Wars figs. Unlike most 12" owners, I'm not really a big fan of military figs. Oh and I'm not a hardcore buyer either, I mainly customise, kitbash and occasionally scratch build 1:6 characters, clothes or accessories. The main thing I try my best to do with this hobby is what I call the 3 Ps: Posing, Photographing & Photoshopping my figs. Cheers! |

whow.. sweet stuff hangmen.
btw, isn't it over kill to have a shotgun and a sledge hammer at one's back? i think that that fella can handle well without the sledge hammer since the shotgun itself is a 'universal key' welcome kin, do post pics of your collection |

QUOTE(Rusty Nail @ Sep 14 2006, 05:39 PM) whow.. sweet stuff hangmen. Nah, it ain't overkill to have both of those in his back. The shotgun itself can run out of ammo; a sledgehammer doesn't. It's more efficient (and cost-effective) to use a blunt object to open doors and windows unless rapid entry is required. During the infamous 1980 Operation Nimrod, The Iranian embassy was outfitted with bulletproof glass and, bulletproof or not, the sledgehammer could simply smash through it. I'd imagine that shotshells would have a hard time trying to penetrate through as they are easily stopped by the bulletproof glass. Another plus point for the sledgehammer: it allows you to pretend yourself as a Space Marine Force Commander! btw, isn't it over kill to have a shotgun and a sledge hammer at one's back? i think that that fella can handle well without the sledge hammer since the shotgun itself is a 'universal key' "Faith and duty!" Right now, I'm trying to gather enough money for my next kitbash/project. I'll probably do either: a) Buy another figure and similar gears as the SAS operative but with a slightly different configuration (a Class IV SAS/SDU vest maybe). That dude really needs an assault buddy. I need some G36Cs for this too. b) Finish my US Army Ranger kitbash. He needs just a few more things to complete him. Or... c) Consider upgrading my old BBI GSG-9 figure with new parts. It's true what Sniper on the Roof said about this hobby: it's really sucking your pocket dry every month! |

Hello!
Hmm... lots of 12in military... sorry not collecting those.... but I enjoyed the close-up Predator pics... however, very alarmed at the pricing... guess I won't get one anytime soon... More into sci-fi and fantasy 12in like Star Wars series and some others series made by Sideshow Collectibles. Anyone else here collect these? Anyway, I'm inviting all 12in collectors to meet at this upcoming Movie Collectibles Bazaar on Saturday at Cineleisure Damansara. Bazaar info is here: www.cinemaonline.com.my I'll be setting up stall there for collectors to meet, show their collections, and trade amongst each other. All 12in collectors are welcome to drop by at 2pm. Bring a custom kitbash along to share Thanks. |

nice stuff , this thread ...
i used to do cy girls , but then i needed money and sold them all on evil bay. had 2 Perfect Body Asians thing i don't reallt like about cy girls is their proportions , too big compared to others. But it's good if your collection is mainly guys , because the clothes fit easily. I'm currently outfitting a momoko doll with combat fatigues |
