QUOTE(ComingBackSoon @ Mar 25 2012, 09:52 PM) Hi, aim for the top universities in Malaysia if you want to go for the matriculation program. You should be looking at UM, UKM, and UPM. i was matriculation student, and graduated from UM in Bac. of Accountancy. currently pursuing my ACCA, and taking last paper in this coming June. anything can help to advise? I did not do the matriculation program and so could not provide you with any advice on the toughness of the program. But I do know a friend who have straight 1A's in SPM who went on to do the matriculation program and achieved a CGPA of 4.00. She is now reading medicine in UKM. She is also a non-bumi and did not have stellar extra-curricular activities if you are wondering. This post has been edited by mary51: Apr 9 2012, 01:08 AM |

Added on April 9, 2012, 1:02 am QUOTE(Whatshouldido @ Apr 3 2012, 04:02 PM) hi, i heard that if we are studying in gov institution we will get lesser hands on or experience, is that true? Hi, actually my personal view is, study in uni will hv much better exposure in term of skills development. As every single subject we will hv presentation, group n individually, assignment group n individual as well. All these will help to develop your soft skills. Else as compared to if u study Acca or lcci or cat, u ll just focus on class lecture n then exam. Correct me if I were wrong. Tot studying local uni will much longer, but I never regret for it. As at least I'm degree holder n guarantee to have MIA after three years of working experience. Indeed I could just don't further taking Acca. But I chose tobtw to obtain a degree in ipta takes longer time? is it all ipta requires 4 years to complete bachelor of accountancy? how do u feel of taking the ACCA paper? is it very tough? what does it requires? thx for helping Continue study Acca after grad. Becoz future things we will never know, who knows one day I plan to go oversea n work? Haha. Currently I'm going to sit for my last paper this June. Acca is not Easy I would say, but thanks God that bless me and I passed all papers at first attempt, as I used to self study and didn't attend lecture class as I don't take any bonds. Hopefully I pass this coming last paper too. If you r confident you could hit the Acca down, then u can take Acca course straight, as it s really time Saving. But just to let you know, I been seeing quite number of my Frds who have no degree, and need to pass Acca before they could obtain Mia qualification. And they failed for few times and spent for additional few years. In conclusion, there is pro n cons This post has been edited by mary51: Apr 9 2012, 01:02 AM |

You are studying by yourself or attending classes? If you are attending classes how is the lecturer and etc? How much do you pay for your fees?
