Hi there

I'm sure everyone must be busy right now preparing for the coming ACCA Exam in June. Good LUCK!!! flex.gif flex.gif

I'm currently doing P1, P2 and P3 in Sunway college, but we have a deadline to register for the next semester. I've been reading lowyat post to decide whether I should continue doing my P6 and P7 in Sunway, as it seems that Sunway lecturers are not that highly recommended for optional papers.

P7

For P7 Ms Sheila from Elitejaya seems to be highly recommended, however living in Sunway having to travel there might be an issue. So I'm just wondering if attending her revision class itself is sufficient (on top of attending lectures from your respective colleges?) or is worth travelling to KL on weekday mornings to take up her full time class in Elitejaya. sweat.gif sweat.gif

P6

The ridiculously high failing rate worries me, on top of that I'm also exempted from F6. It is not recommended to proceed? I don't mind putting in extra effort, but sometimes we can only go that far. Any tips on how to pass the paper especially for those that are exempted from f6? or any really good lecturers to recommend? (i know that Low Chin Ann is in the list but anyone else other than that?). Rozy's class in Sunway is full ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

Thanks a lot, will really appreciate your replies and advice!! Again, best of luck everyone!!!! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

P6 Advanced Taxation ATX(3.2)
Low Chin Ann (KB)
Chong Kwai Fatt (IRC only- uncertain in which college)

Any other good lecturers to recommend for P6? as Ms Rozy in sunway's class is full.
And for P7, between Sheila and Joey Wong, any idea who's better? Thanks icon_rolleyes.gif

Congrats to all that have passed!! Sadly I only passed P1 and P3, failed P2. Have to crawl back to attend Miss Menon's class :'( Hopefully can pass at second attempt.

Highly recommend Michael Mainwaring workshop for whoever that's planning on taking P3 this december exam! It's worth the money, I only had about 2 weeks to prepare and I went for his revision classes. His useful exam techniques really helped me to gain high pass both P1 and P3 theory papers.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions hopefully seniors out here can help me out.

1. I'm planning on taking P6, P7 and resit P2 (failed at 46%), too ambitious?

2. For P6 I have dilemma choosing between Low Chin Ann, Andrew Kok and Alan Yeo.

I've read the analysis before and Low Chin Ann seems to be more suitable as I come from degree background and lack practical experience. Im staying in Sunway and KB classes are at night, besides that I'll be travelling alone. Does anyone know if it is difficult to get car park there? I'm considering whether or not to bring my sister's car down from Penang or should I just take LRT there?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! <3<3

1. why not.. just take 3 subjects .. else u will stuck with only 1 subject in the final semester..
2. Now august d, most of the classes started already, u sure u can catch up the missing classes?

But P6 and P2 syllabus are huge right?
For Mr Low's class in KB, they have bridging classes to help students to join in August to catch up what they have missed in July so I'm not that worried. Travelling from Sunway is my main concern sad.gif What papers are you doing now. Congrats on passing P2, what a relief it must be rclxms.gif

Now im doing P6 and P7 , probably will add in P3 lol..
P6 is huge no doubt totally cannot compare to F6, my lecturer told me this coming seating might be relatively easier compared to last semester..becoz last seating is a nightmare for all the students.. haha tongue.gif

Seriously i don ever think in passing P2, coz i dunno what am i doing inside the exam hall..
Maybe it's true to take the exam in less famous colleges, student not very smart so makers will not so strict.. icon_rolleyes.gif

for P6 i join ms kok class..hmm.. so far no good  sad.gif

Really?? Hmmm thats why I really dont want to pay the huge sunway fees to get lecturers like Ms Wong again, was afraid that Ms Kok might be the same nightmare.

Guess have to start planning how to travel to KL for classes or maybe go for Andrew Kok in KSA. cry.gif cry.gif
