I had just recieve my SPM result recently and I am lost for which path of study should I choose to continue studying accountancy. Which is better? Going for gov matriculation>UM/USM>ACCA or going for private institution to take perhaps a foundation/diploma>degree>ACCA or CAT>ACCA? Which is a good choice to be made? Btw, I got all A's(7A+,2A), LCCI-band 1,1119-1A.

the 2nd i understand it is very exp in monash its self needs at least 100k+++
the 3rd path is cheap but some said 2nd is better
so which is a better one?

hey guys, jz wanna seek for opinions here. I got book vouchers from 1 college aldy n i also checked there is my name in the list of another college whr im studying at too, shd i get tat another Rm 200 voucher or not?

There is notice of warning there pasted outside of the collection counter, "if collected aldy at another coll, shdnt collect anymore as the list of names will be submitted to ministry of higher education after the deadline of the distribution."

Im wondering what can Ministry do to those acca students who claim vouchers at 2 colleges, phone call/issue letter to claim back rm200 fr me or blacklist me at somewhr...

Any advice for students taking f4, f5 and f6? It's left 2 months and now i feel that i'm going to do badly.
I can't find the right way to study.
Any 'sifu' can give some advice??

most of the F4 questions are from past year questions, make sure you understand the principles then try to memorise the answers from past year questions, you can pass easily.

F5 you need to know everything inside the syllabus, it used to be the killer when there were only 4 questions x 25 marks. not much advice can be given.

For F6, Q1 and Q2 are mostly fixed, you can try to catch the trend. Q3-Q5, sales tax, withholding tax, service tax are quite general, other topics which you can try to catch are residence-ship, CA, agricultural allowance, employment income etc. what have come out last sem should not be coming out again this time

Piecemeal acquisiton tested 3 sittings in a row liao, my lecturer said highly unlikely but there again it depends on Mr. Grahman Holt whether wants to surprise/shock/kill us in the exam or not... : (

My F4 lecturer told us that there is a possibility that partnership will come out this coming exam but partnership has come out last sitting.
Can anyone clarify this or any lecturer of your guys tells the same thing?

Same here..My uni charging rm4000 for obu..Wonder if there are any cheaper alternatives elsewhere?

U dun really need to write like the model answer~~
u will not have the time to write like the model answer~~
u actually got the answer already~~it test ur understanding~~so make sure u are darn good in the theory and principles~~

Just make sure u can write in a structural way...i.e. link to the principle(s) or accounting standard, explain the them and apply ur judgement~~if u are not able to apply the IAS directly~~jus state ur opinion and how u treat them~~
But my best advice is~~dun pick that Question~~~do Q2 and Q3

First attempt ACCA written exams, feel like going to fail...

do u think doing the pass year is enough as I only left 1 month ++ to prepare for my finals?? 

my marks for ACCA never hit more than 66

as i see there is not major changes, retaking next round should not be a problem. you still have 4-5 weeks till exam. limit yourself 2 weeks per paper, you should be doing good enough. dropping one subject is only the last resort
