Anyone here taking P6 advanced taxation ?
So, will double taxation be coming out ? Let the speculation begin.

Like usual, dont depend on tips. But I suppose you can focus on few areas such as;

RPGT
Investment Incentives (came out 3 times dy under the current examiner, not sure will come out again or not)
Double Taxation (Technical article)
International Procurement Centre, RDC, OHQ (Technical article)
Dividends (transition from imputation to single tier)
Investment holdings, REIT, unit trust
Fundamentals from F6


P6 is the most crazy paper ever, lot's of things to cover and you cant really bluff your way through like P3 or P7 as you need to base your arguments on the statue itself.

Yea, I think most people have this feeling. ACCA is good at surprises haha.

Now we entering critical phase liao...besides the months of study, now is the time to utilise the short-term memory powahhh.

I am taking P6 too.

I never felt this anxious and nervous before in ACCA exam, P6 is the first paper to make me worry lol.

Really brutal P6 today.

Hey tzxsean, ur settlement prediction came out I just took a glimpse, didnt really look into it..hopefully can pick up some marks.

Sad IPC/OHQ/RDC didnt come out.


Dont wanna look back liao...just wait for 2 months + for the result

Marcus Ong actually not bad, his jokes and humours are quite entertaining especially if you have a long day ahead.

Most core papers are not really an issue, pass them in 1st attempt anyways. So, I believe any decent lecturer will do. Option paper are the real challenge.

But still, I am just thankful Marcus made P3 class fun and the exam techniques/motivation although his forecast wasnt accurate

Yup, you can find work with CAT qualification but I think you must not be choosy with the salary, most small-medium audit firms do hire CAT grad. I have a friend who decide to do ACCA on a part-time basis after her CAT completion. I think there wont be much issues for ACCA level 1 to level 2 except maybe F8 and F7. P level is going to be hard tho especially the option papers but not impossible for self-study.

There are some advantages to study ACCA part-time; first you can claim PER while passing your exam, provided you pass otherwise waste of time and the other is self-satisfaction of gaining work experience while passing exams
