Hi everyone

I am deciding whether to go sunway or elitejaya(or bandar? kasturi?) for my acca in this coming july.
I heard that sunway is not as good as it seems...
Also, I am not from KL area so I have some accommodation issues
Can anyone give me some advice and show me any pros and cons regrading on this?

It's not the college that you should be considering but the paper that you're sitting for. Good lecturers are not all teaching in the same college.

What papers are you sitting for ?

I am taking F4 F5 and F6 in July.

Well there are many good lecturers in the klang valley. I'm taking te exact same papers this term.

F4 - Ms Sanjeetha @ Kasturi - I was not in her class but had friends in it. They were very happy.

F5/F6 - I took both these papers under Mr Low Chin Ann @ Kolej Bandar. He's a great lecturer. Very thorough, doesn't skip parts and makes complex topics easy to understand.

How about Sunway?
Frankly I plan to go Sunway but I worry that the fees are too high so it might not worth it
So I want to know the advantage and disadvantage of both college

Np. I'm glad to help. I don't know much about Sunway apart from what I've gathered from friends and LYN. Many of them seem to believe that Sunway's standard has dwindled drastically and that the exorbitant fees they charge are not justified. Apparently only a few of their lecturers are really good, eg Mrs Menon of P2. However I'm unable to substantiate any of these claims as I've never taken any papers there. So they're all just here-says to me. Its best for you to read through older posts here. You should be able gather the info you require.

F4- Ms. Puspha she is a lawyer previously and she is very good in her law. everything at her finger tips. tells story and give real life examples. but law is always boring you can fall asleep in her class.
F6- Ms. Joyce she is a very strict lect if you don't perform in progress test she will screw you up-side-down. this makes you really study for your tax and she will give surprise test. don't perform screw you again. she got lots of charts and makes tax easier if you listens and understands.
F8- Mr Ong he is good lect with lots of experience in auditing. Gives real life examples but he aims for passing students only. 50 marks is all he wants from students. he can teach you how to pass but not score.
F9- Ms. Joyce back to the same lecturer as F6
P1. P7- Mr. Goh very patient lecturer and good in his knowledge. teaches you exam techniques and guide you all the way, he is like a very loving father teaching students with love and care. lots of students like him.
P2- Ms. Menon come for her class no regrets.

Is ms joyce still teaching?
How about ms rozi and ms patricia?

Agree about Joyce. She's super strict though..But if you do all the class work etc then she won't target you. She's still teaching.

Ms Rozi also another strict one..not as strict as Joyce but in the end, she's a damn good lecturer for tax.

Yo, nice clarification there. But i think Mr.Ong no longer teaching F8 already left Ms. Kiran & Ms. Letchumy.

Rozi and Joyce are both Menon's student. LOL yes Rozi is good too.
Mr Ong is teaching only retake students. Kiran *erm erm*

I don't even wanna talk about Kiran.

I remember Menon said Rozi is damn scared of her. lol.

If you finished the whole syllabus, naturally the next best thing is the past years..If that's not enough I don't know what is..
