You don't need to be above 21 years old to take ACCA. However, there are some minimum requirement such as STPM with some credits etc. Please check at ACCA website for more info smile.gif

what i meant was..either you qualify for their minimum requirement, OR

if you are above 21 years old

then you can join ACCA as student~~

But of coz, the latter 1 has to start from foundation papers first

I don't think ACCA is equal to a degree, It is a professional qualification so it doesn't come under any degree, this is what i guess.
By the way if you really wanna get a degree then go for ICAEW after doing ACCA, ICAEW is considered a Degree.

Stupid statement~~
do u know any degree holder who graduate from a "qualified accounting or business degree" only gets a maximum of 9 papers exemption for ACCA? if you wanna become a pro in the field u will still need to take 5 papers and 3 years of experience~~

ICAEW is no different than ACCA as it is also a professional qualification...just that the study and working experience requirement is a different from ACCA~~and that it gives the privilege of becoming UK's Chartered Accountant directly after finish the course and the working experience requirement~~~

Do some research before giving such funny statement plz~~

hey everyone! mind giving some ideas?
now i'm thinking how to do my P3 revision.

parminder has 4 sets of note and i've finished up to the 3rd one before attended michael mainwaring's mock test yesterday which i got a really bad marks.

i haven't started michael's bluff note.
and now i got a new plan after seeing my terrifying mock test score.

i'd only do first 3 sets of parminder notes which i've done, thinking not to study his 4th book (note). then directly move to michael's bluff note and finish it before his irc in November. after michael irc i'll straight away focus on pyq.

i.e. i'll skip parminder 4th note. and this makes me worry.

so my question is : is michael bluff note comprehensive enough?

i find parminder notes too messy. really messy. he should seriously thinking of updating his notes. i've gone through carefully his first 3 notes but his 4th notes is thick and i have yet to start and i think it's better for me to invest my time on michael bluff note and pyq.

do you guys find my plan risky as i just depends on michael irc notes for some topics (which covered in parminder 4th note).. at this point of time what i want is just a pass.

ideas please. thank you very much!

Bluff note is meant to bluff~~not for real~~wanna pass?? finish the whole syllabus in a proper way...after being Parmindar's student, i do think that even his notes is NOT comprehensive enough~~make sure u go try some past years Qs and u will know what i meant by NOT comprehensive enough~~

Do practice writing more~~no easy and short cut way to pass ACCA papers unless u are a super genius~

Wonder why nowadays so many student looking for short cuts and quick ways~~
