Hello all! I just got my keys this week so I am a newcomer to the community and welcome any advices. My unit is in Block A, facing the direction of the guardhouse - can I find out if the prayers from the mosque are really loud? Just wondering if I need to sound proof the bedroom windows. Thank you!

QUOTE(beemereSS @ May 16 2016, 09:16 AM) Not that loud, in fact on most days I cant hear anything. I'm also block A & facing the community centre. Oh that's really great to hear! Can I also ask if they allow us to dry clothes at the balcony? The yard is so small not sure if I can fit a dryer there...

I went over to check on my unit which is still being renovated last Sunday and was shocked by the stench from the guest toilet! I know occasionally, there may be whiffs of bad smell but it was particularly terrible that day. Is anyone facing the same problem? I have cleaned all the drain trap but this seems to be quite a regular occurrence!

Hello! I am an owner and have been staying there for 1 year. The defects in my unit are not as bad as hers thankfully (my toilet didnt explode). Yes there were some defects when I first bought the unit but eventually, almost everything is fixed now with ongoing repairs on one wall leak. The bigger nightmare that I am dealing with is my neighbour upstairs who likes to stay up late pulling chairs, stomping around and going to the toilet every 30 mins or so. Is it common for condos to be able to hear footsteps from the neighbour upstairs?

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Aug 11 2017, 04:36 PM) last time i stay in old condo..... i can only listen the above running steps when its very silent night.... daily activities wont really affected..... and never heard of dropping thin etc.... but running steps definitely audible during silent night.... but usually because kids running across the house... normal walking steps cant listen.... Yes, during the day is not so noticeable but at night I swear my neighbour turns into a baby elephant. thump thump thump. apart from praying that my neighbour will move away soon haha, is there anything I can do to my own unit to minimise the sound?

QUOTE(Cookie101 @ Nov 14 2017, 05:32 PM) A relative bought a unit there and went there to stay for a week. Pretty good but got sound issue and parking issue outside on weekends- Sounds: as in the prayers is constant throughout every night and events happenings from 7-9pm daily - I find it rather annoying- Personally. As time goes, you may get used to it like how my relative said. Lol... Not sure how true. Parking outside is due to people going for nature walk- narrow one way land to exit. Weekdays is fine. But the road heading there is dark. Public road side lighting seems to break down quite frequently. Otherwise all good. I think the noise is not so loud from Block A. I rarely notice the prayers and the noise from these events (which I am not aware of...) The park is really popular on weekends but usually the crowd will leave by 10am as it would be too hot then.
