hi, urgent need info..
I'm B line, today when i went to do on wheel balancing.. realized my front left tyre has been eating inside very terrible, and has a vulnerable... scar hole.. (i have noticed my front left tyre has air leaking recently... now i know it is due to this deep scar, 2 2weeks drop 60 psi while the right still at 210psi) the shop tell me, it would explode/bocor anytime.. just don't know when. i'm actually thinking of chaging rim in future(might or might not), shud i chg to 195/60/r15 (same stock size), or 195/55/r15. any different? any b liners, has changed to 195/55/r15 tayar? confort ok? anything significant? QUOTE(xandras @ Mar 25 2012, 03:05 AM) It's best to check ur tyres every now and then, u wont know how bad is ur alignment/balancing/chamber settings until u actually check it.. Changing rim or not does affect ur tyre size, but not only the thickness part.. 195(this is the width of the tyre)/60(percentage of width = to height, e.g; 60% of 195)/R15(radius of the rim). So what size u wanna change to? If u wanna stick back with 15 inch rims, I suggest u go back to 195/60/15.. That's the best u can have for PE in terms of comfort.. Changing to 195/55 may make ur wheels appear to be smaller and ur ride height shorter.. Yes i did, everything yesterday,, alignment, balancing, and chamber settings. except tyre change. Why i tot of using 195/55/15 because I plan to change tyre to michelin ps3. The shop offer me, michelin xm2 (195/60/15), rm260 each. |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Mar 25 2012, 01:20 PM) I won't advice using 195/55r15 for pe. Its more than the 3% diameter diff. Might seriously affect your ecu and braking system. QUOTE(xandras @ Mar 25 2012, 01:25 PM) ic ic, so those PE changed changed sport rim and changed to michelin ps3, their braking, gearing and ODO reading all affected lo despite gain grip and performance?Anyway, I just changed 2 front tyres only, michelin XM2 195/60/15, RM280 each at Kuantan. Then on the way back KL, noise level is low, and cornering grip at karak highway is good This post has been edited by IceBikers: Mar 25 2012, 09:47 PM |
