You need more fuel to go fast, that's how it works...
...based on my noob understanding the EFR helps you to regulate the fuel input, if you are driving slow, it reduce the fuel input to prevent over flow that cost wastage, if you want fast response, it helps getting more fuel into the combustion chamber to create more powderful explosion Ini my 2 cent from non engineering and science fella like me..
