yea, i heard even The New IPAD wont get hot
put a case/cover on it and most people woudl barely feel the heat. hot like hell? 
hi, since when you flashed? please check under running services is 'media' running? if so, the media scanner is still running. first time you flash ICS it will scan and will take a very long time. you can try unmount ur microsd card in settings>storage then mount it back after media scanning is completed, then it will scan ur sdcard too before complete.

telltale signs is, camera cannot open, no music/pictures that are in your microsdcard displayed in music/gallery
