My S2 is playing up, I can't turn on WIFI, it switch on for a moment, scanning then off... Anyone encounter this before? any solution?

When I try to switch on Wifi, it seems to try to on it then wifi just goes off, if I try to create hotspot, also doing the same problem...

after that my phone will not be responding

I remember doing some samsung apps update + google play and downloaded Angry Bird Space


thats it, tried wiping cache and dalvik , failed, now in the process of flashing it again

Tried flashing to Stock firmware, now getting the message "Error" when trying to switch on Wifi from Settings


Have to reset the binary counter and send to Samsung for warranty, I don't rely much on wifi but cannot live without hotspot feature

Guys, can share if you have sent your s2 for warranty at the service center at Plaza Berjaya?

Is it fast? How about their workmanship?

I hope it will not drag to a week, since I'm gonna buy a basic phone for call+sms

Wifi and personal hotspot not working. It will make the whole phone lag + you can't switch it off completely.

Now I have installed the latest firmware, still the same problem

Been googling on this and found out it is most probably a hardware issue.

My phone is only 8 months

The phone works wonderfully until I updated Samsung apps + kies air + angry birds space free, then this started to happen

Btw, you mention Samsung service center moved to LowYat plaza, its on 4th floor?

Guys, I'm trying to reset the binary count and failed, since it is using the new bootloader

now I'm having problem flashing the old bootloader.. after i extract the old bootloader on my pc, it is 0kb in size a md5 file


any idea?

I've redownload 5 times from 2 different link, the 7z size if 415kb, but after extracting md5 file is 0kb

7z file is not recognized by odin

no wonder, i was using winrar
