doh.gif pirated apps causes problems to phones, that the cold hard truth. Try dont install pirated apps on ur g version and see, im very sure there wont be any more hangs.

Without pirated apps, g version doesnt hang. With pirated apps, it hangs. Conclusion? It's the pirated apps that causes the g version to hang, not the phone itself  doh.gif

Im sick of how u go around and tell everyone g version hangs all the time. G version doesnt hang, just ask wildcat/nicregi.
*
Okay, I'll buy apps and remove all pirated apps, and see what will happen.

QUOTE(Positron @ Mar 24 2012, 01:35 PM)
Exactly, very well said..
There are no perrfect phones..
Maybe iphone 4S is perfect, as it never hanged before..
*
wrong.the perfect phones is those made by Positron.can overclock and last for years

QUOTE(Positron @ Mar 24 2012, 02:10 PM)
Okay, I want to say something, okay I know this posts will create total chaos and abomination like what the Joker did to Gotham City.

But please hear me out, I want to say something first, don't shoot me down for saying this.

First I am not supporting pirated apps, as I still bought some apps, and some people in this thread do that also, they just don't admit..

If you all say that pirated apps caused the phone to hang, then let me put this rebuttal down for you.
If that is what you want to always prove it to be right, I have installed some pirated apps in my non-G phone, and tell you something, it never hanged before, it hanged only because I overclocked it, and that is of course like so obvious. Other than that, so many months it never hanged before. And when I put in my G, it hanged occasionally.
Okay, you want to say what you want to say, but please don't be furious. Nothing to be mad about, as it is the truth, those that tried to deny it, go ahead. This is just a piece of my conclusion and piece of my mind, okay, lastly, I will stop piracy already, I am buying apps. No joke..

as expected.where is the god damn receipts to show?dont just bs here and there.show us the photos or the emails from google.else stop saying you are buying

once a true supporter of pirated always is

Many purchased SG2 latter found out it was a G set. Compounded with issues i.e camera FC/ hang etc.
Issues that affect the phone performance. What a let down.
*
I don't think it's fair to put all the blame on Samsung alone.
Buyer/user also at fault as they didn't check the phone/box properly. Phone shop/telco also at fault as they seldom/never inform the different between the two version.
We must understand that Samsung release the G version that come with different box and different price.

QUOTE(nicregi @ Mar 24 2012, 01:33 PM)
Agreed. I don't see why everyone is saying G so bad bla bla bla. Well it is still a darn phone and thus, it is not fair to say it is not good unless you can't turn it on. >.<
*
True..the G version is still a working phone albeit a tone down spec from non-G. About the sdcard issue, hopefully Samsung can solve the problem with firmware updates. ICS maybe.....

You already said no perfect phone, which means totally 100% no doubt no perfect phones, then pop up ip4s maybe perfect  doh.gif

even iOS hangs occasionally. Also, like i said, please stop criticising G version hanging, its the fact that u install pirated apps that causes it to hang  doh.gif
*
I would say iOS doesn't hang if you use official but if you JB then different case la smile.gif Each phone is good and that 'fella' REALLY dumb to compare A and B and all those stuffs lol.

QUOTE(botakbin @ Mar 24 2012, 02:00 PM)
Ya bodoh sial still wan blame phone. Stupid.

And I agree with wildcat. I don't think g is that bad. In fact I even consider buying it before for its battery life. Only stupid users like positron will make the hangs sound natural when he's a pirate.
*
What can I say? I agree truly!

QUOTE(botakbin @ Mar 24 2012, 02:14 PM)
Lol look at some ppl. Say stop piracy but say install pirated apps in non-g phone. LOLOL
*
That's why lo. Cakap one hing, do anothing thing.

@To That Fella
Install pirated apps on G or non G will increase the chances of hang. If you say no hang, you definitely fail. Nonsense doh.gif

QUOTE(suatgee @ Mar 24 2012, 02:14 PM)
O.O

Really?
Hmm..
Is it that bad?

No it is not that bad.

The problem starts when one complain of 1 thing, and another start to check if he/she has problem. Then report back say the same and it spread like wild fire.

When the real case is, it is just one small issue laugh.gif Amazing what words can make people feel (and even change the market)... sweat.gif

What are you guys doing to get 4 hours of screen on time? This is without using Juicedefender etc, right?

I'm on Thebyani ICS ROM now with stock kernel, but even trying different kernels don't seem to yield noticeable improvements in battery life.

Do I have to underclock the processor? Anyway, I'm comfortable with the standby time now, which generally lasts about a day with moderate usage, and about 2-2.5 hours of screen on time.

Just curious because you guys are talking about 4 hours screen on like it's a normal thing, haha.

So far on wanamlite+siyah a4, usually get about 3 hours screen on time only. Wait till devs full develop their kernels/roms, then we can get 4-5 screen on time

Normally just uninstall from Settings -> Applications
The files left back is probably the cache. Anyway the size is very small to make a difference on your phone memory or SD card.
