Speaking about password protect, how about an app which can hide other apps?any such apps?maybe even something which can hide files (video or photos) in file explorers?like in windows?

Wonder if there is such a thing... hmm.gif
*
Yes, there is.
But I forgot the name of the app. Maybe you can go to Google PLay and search a bit.

I finally decided to flash to Hydrogenics tonight....played with it for a while....having a bit of difficulty restoring apps because of the change of sd card name....

Finally, flashed to Turkbey ICS V3.....restoring data and apps....so far looks okay

h0h0h0..

how nice is that v3.
c\maybe can flash tomorrow.
no need wipe rite?
*
I did a full wipe before trying Hydrogenics...then tried Turkbey...

Some users in Turkbey thread complain about the Siyah kernel...but they said after flashing to CF Root kernel then everything is good...

I wanted to flash to CF Root kernel but very late now...wanted to use Odin but worried about yellow triangle...not sure if my USB Jig works or not...

Can I flash CF Root Kernel using Mobile Odin...will there be a yellow traingle...if don't have, i don't mind purchasing Mobile Odin....

You can flash .tar kernel with cwm manager.  flashing kernel with mobile odin also don't need to purchase.
*
Thanks for your reply.

Is this correct?

1) Download CF-Root file from Chainfire thread.
2) Extract the file to become .tar.

3) Open CWM app in my phone.
4) Scroll down to Flash Kernel.
5) Then select the .tar file to install ?

Correct?

By doing this way, no yellow triangle, right?

Thanks

I'm not sure if it's something to do with XWLP3, Siyah kernel or Turkbey's tweaks, I find that the Turkbey ROM V3 has a much more smoother scolling experience compared to Stock DXLP7.

Very noticeable when scrolling using the Stock Browser, etc...

Hmm turkbey, should probably give that a go hmm.gif

Anything negative points bout turkbey? (non functioning stuff, performance, etc)

There are reported issues on the toggle notifications (check his thread), but users said after flashing to CF Root kernel, everything is good. They suspect it is the Siyah Kernel...

That is why I'm considering flashing to CF Root kernel too....but I didn't notice any issues yet myself so far.....anyway, I just flashed to Turkbey last night only......still testing and monitoring...

Okay, successfully flashed CF Root kernel over my Turkbey ROM V3 via CWM manager.

Easy and straight forward...no yellow trangle versus normal Odin method thumbup.gif

When I was on Beta Siyah kernel, sometimes I experience no Wifi when I click on Wifi toggle....but with CF Root kernel now, everything is working good....Turkbey V3 + CF Root Kernel .....nice rclxms.gif

Which cf root u use?
I using litening rom. I also experience the wifi on but sometimes no wifi.
After check, my kernal is also siyah. It must be the culprit.
I also wana change to cf root. But which to choose?
*
Turkbey is based on XWLP3, so I use the CFRoot for LP3.

hurm.. seem u all quite like AOSP.
will try it later lor

Actually, I flashed to Hydrogenics before switching over to Turkbey.

With Hydrogenics, very few apps installed and you have to download themselves. Good for those who want a clean ROM. I can't even find a File Explorer app inside Hydrogenics rom....and the main issue for me is that My Backup pro cannot restore app because they cannot find the SD Card file path....I think the SD card name/ file path is changed....ineternal versus external...or something like that.....I didn't have the time to play around with it...

so flashed to turkbey and everything restored easily....

Will try AOSP again if I have more time.... sweat.gif

Any apps installed which are not from Google Play store? Try removing those first
*
If the phone keeps rebooting once switched on, it means that she can't do anything to the phone, ie cannot delete any apps...

Might have to take out battery to shut down the phone first and then press 3-button combo to boot into download mode to flash a new rom via Odin?

the problem happens on the spot when i turn my bluetooth on.
and i dont think i can remove anything bcause the phone rebooting non-stop..i dont have time to do anything, except turn it off my self,b4 it reboots again :'(
*
If all else fails, you might want to boot into download mode to flash a new Stock ROM...if you are keen, we can guide you here..and in fact, Page 1 of this thread should have a guide on how to flash a Stock ROM...
