Question : should I remove my matte screen protector on my s2 and trust the gorilla glass?

Just removed my screen protector from my iPod touch yesterday and was amazed once again at the retina display, should I take it off my s2?

Nope my matte perfectly fine, but the screen looks so grainy compared to my naked iPod now haha, maybe a cheap clear SP is the way to go?
