ic, if that's the case, at least update on the expiry date as it gives the impression that the plan no longer valid. sorry, but don't do BT so not really updated on such. thanks

Guy, I am thinking to use the BT to cash out. Please share/advise me whether it works.

Card P 20k CL, no outstanding balance
Card M 20K CL, no outstanding balance

BT to Card P 16k, then Card M would have overpaid of 16k.
After that call the customer service to transfer back into my current account.

Can it be done in this way?

bro

I know for sure PBB do not need any statement for BT. a few times i BT 3k although my statement balance is like 1k ++

and they reason i BT 3k is becuz of the 0% installment min limit  icon_rolleyes.gif

but BT 16k that is excessive. I am pretty sure even PBB will reject

Thank you for your reply.

I know PBB will not need any statement for doing BT. According to your case, have you asked the bank to transfer the overpaid balance into your saving/current account?

btw, bro, what is the plan for the RM 20k being cashed out? Buy expensive stuff, invest, put in FD, put in your flexi house loan acc and won't touch it, ....?

remember that no matter what you still have to pay back the BT you owe

and another thing. most banks i know need the credit card statement to do BT. Only a few allow BT without any statement

All put into my flexi housing loan and buy share lo tongue.gif

I just want to share.
This is not consider "cheating" ok? In fact some of the bank is officially/publicly promoting it. For example, HLB BT Plus.
Under HLB BT Plus, you can straight away cash out from credit limit, Interest rate is 6.99p.a., Reducing method.
After the HLB BT plus, then perform BT to another bank which offer lower interest like 0% 6 or 12 months.
So you manage to cash out the money and enjoy 0% interest.

Is it positive & constructive enough? I am sure this is LEGAL.

Since some of the forumers are so sensitive with this, I will amend all my threads.

Thank you
