My 2nd BT with Aeon:
BT Form fax on 13th Aug.
BT approved on 14th Aug
Cheque send to bank on 23rd Aug.
Cheque clear on 28th Aug.

I would say the respond time is quite good.

Hi, I applied my BT 1st time to Aeon from MBB...
BT Form fax on 30th Aug.
BT approved on 30th Aug.

but how to check there is a cheque send to bank?
Is it from MBB unbilled Transaction page?
I have email and check with MBB, they said so far no cheque yet to send to them...

i suppose to settle MBB payment by 16 Sept...

Hmmmm, should i settle my full payment now or wait a little bit longer?

as i understand the full BT cycle for Aeon take 15 working days as stated in the BT application form...

Thanks Sifu Titan- Gunners...

i was so afraid to use my Aeon cc as scare will end up like my HSBC card which monthly cause me to pay extra for the financial charges as i did BT from Ambank to HSBC and also for new swipe... rclxub.gif

and i did lodge complaint to HSBC and walk in to their branches... they said they cannot do anything as this is their system limitation and if I want to get refund, i have to walk in to their branch monthly to get the refund.... shakehead.gif sweat.gif

end up after the third month of Balance Transfer to HSBC, i put a large sum of money there and let it auto deduct monthly... blush.gif

and will be cancelling this HSBC platinum card in 2 months time too... yipeeeeee

well it's just a useful financial tool,. if cannot control and dig a deep hole, then blame ownself.. not the tool..  biggrin.gif
*
well.. my second BT from MBB to Aeon just got approved too from Aeon and lets see Aeon will take how long to send the cheque to MBB... flex.gif

to me, i think by using this BT, one got to be fully discipline in controlling ownself finance for this 6 months/ 1 year or even longer until the BT is fully settle and it is like back to those day when u got to pay ur monthly car loan installment time... rolleyes.gif

but when BT is finally over and u will eventually feel relieve and proud of urself that you can make it lar... icon_rolleyes.gif

What Titan_Gunners is trying to say is, BT is like a wolf in sheep clothing

It may look innocent and helpful outside, but inside the bank knows that although there will be some who are wise enough to not fall into their trap, there are many more that will end up in more debts because of BT.

Main reason for that is, ppl will think they got tons of cash (which they don't have) and if they use the money saved from BT to spend on stupid expensive stuff that they can't afford, they are falling into the bank's trap because sooner or later you have to pay back the money you owe, one way or another and if you can't, then you are digging bigger hole than before

This is what the banks HOPE you will do, dig deeper holes so that they can earn more money

BUT if we are wise to utilize BT to save interest (and not getting into bigger debts), then we will be just fine

new credit card holder or also for existing?
*
so scary the way u put into this laugh.gif tongue.gif

but i agree with what u said, as we are using future money then only use 0% BT plan to pay off slowly say like 6 months....

anyway, really have to be super discipline in this lor... whistling.gif

i didn't use personally but heard from previous post quite fast BT approval
*
rclxms.gif to Aeon BT... quite fast approval...

today submit BT form, either by end of today or latest by tomorrow you will receive their call to verify you and the BT amount...

about a week like that most properly your BT amount will get approve and the cheque will be send to B Bank but u have to constantly monitor you B Bank transaction lor... brows.gif

nah, here you go...
You can pay at Aeon Credit Facility branch (Counter) but not all Aeon can take in payment example Klang Bukit Raja...
http://www.aeonmalaysia.com.my/acs/af/kona...ChannelId=-8820

alternatively you can pay via any atm machine & pos malaysia too, but got some surcharges and i forgot how much jor... biggrin.gif

no doubt this BT services can help us leverage our "bad debts" problems for 6 months on 0% but i find it one can get addicted to such "benefits" especially me lar... drool.gif

whenever want to purchase large stuff (more $$$ involvement) and if that shop do not offer any 0% EPP then will straight away think of my beloved Aeon 6 mths BT scheme.... brows.gif

well, now left few months to go b4 my i get back all my credit limit.... laugh.gif laugh.gif then the cycle goes on and on again.... icon_rolleyes.gif

kindly update OCBC Balance Transfer Plan

1.88% - 6 Months
2.88% - 12 Months

Balance to transfer is amounted to minimum 1K, interest will be charged once at the first instalment.
*
Can i know what is the difference of this EPP and BT since both also need to pay some sort of 1 time off handling fee/ admin fee?
in this case, can we take OCBC as example:-

5 months--> 2%
10 months--> 3%
20 months--> 5%
above is the handling fee charges from ocbc and min to do BT also RM1k as well....

hmmm, from what i see compare against OCBC EPP and BT, BT more worthy as the rate is "cheaper" a bit and have extra few months to stretch the "bad debts" laugh.gif

Hi Epie,

BT to Public Bank sure is fast but their cc is super hard to apply, i been rejected twice so kinda give up jor... rclxub.gif
maybe is it due to i cancel my saving and current account there before @ Public Bank, so they must have got my record there somehow....

sorry sorry OT too much .... blush.gif
