you can't "straight away" do BT. you need to wait till your bank to give you your monthly statement only can do BT. Some banks require statement proof to do BT (eg RHB, Maybank). Some banks just ask you to fill up the numbers you want to BT w/o proof (eg Pbb)

TP won't be removed. You get to keep it even if you BT

Regarding post dated cheque, I can't be 100% sure but i remember i got ask this kind of question before (i want to bank the cheque in advance for the payment on later date). they say once you bank in the cheque, they will immediately process irrespective when is your cheque date
*
I did bt with maybank from my cimb cc last year. I just print out the online statement which is before my statement date and head to maybank to bt.. application approved without any issue..

Yah Bro, no extra charges for RHB and CIMB BT Plans.

RHB - 6 equal installments

CIMB - pay 5% minimum (can pay more and should pay more so comes end of 6th month no sudden big payment) and end of 6 month must settle in full.
I have seen AEON counters inside AEON (JJ) Departmental Store Pyramid. Go check AEON website, it should tell you where and how you can make payments.

Thanks bro. After checking to this link (http://www.aeonmalaysia.com.my/acs/af/kona...dChannels=-8815), the AEON credit service centre is so near to my office and I never realized it.. =.= blush.gif

Hi brotan or all sifu,
Im not really clear abt this BT.
From the 1st page link given for the standard chartered bank.
I saw if i make rm3k BT then i will need to pay rm231*12mth
So total of payback is only rm2772..
Is it just that? Or there any other charges? i just dnt beleived it. BT rm3k then payback only rm2772 only in 12mth?sorry for noob q
Just worry of any other charge.

From my understanding, 231 is the interest charged (7.7% effective rate), so total 3,231 to be paid back within 12 months. Over there stated fixed monthly installment, so you need to pay 269.25 monthly for 12 months.

Btw, still better check with scb if you want to take the bt.

I've receive a call from Price Solutions to offer SCB's 0% Balance Transfer Program (6-month installment). It's an offer for selected SCB customers.
A special BT account number will be created.

Applied On : 28 March 2013
Approved On : 29 March 2013
SCB BT Account generated : 1 April 2013
Paid to Other Bank : 3 April 2013

Completed in 5 working days (it was paid via GIRO, not cheque)
*
Hi Ronnie, for SCB BT, it is 6 months equal repayment or minimum 5% for first 5 months, then balancing on last month?

Not sure this had been raise before:-

For AEON BT, other than fax, we can email to cc_cad@aeonmalaysia.com.my

PS: The email address is not stated in the BT application form.

I see. The email address I stated is given by the personnel who call me to verify my BT application as I left out one credit card statement. He asked me to sent my credit card statement to this email address. I double confirm with him is it I can just email to this address for future BT application and he say yes.

Give it another 1-2 days... it should faster with CIMB.
Does CIMB have a new BT plan ?
*
I see. Because I sent it late, so afraid it will be over my payment due date for the CC that I BT to CIMB as the due date for payment is 6 January. =.='''

CIMB don't have any new plan. I took the 0% 6 months BT plan for new CC holder where the promotion already ended 31 December 2013. smile.gif

How to confirm that my CIMB BT application is received? Or I just wait then see my CIMBclicks acc?
*
Called CS is the best solution.

My experience is I faxed to them. No respond within 2 working days. Then I emailed to the general CS email address, asked them help me forward to related department. Then they did help and reply me within 2 working days. Then after they reply, new BT account was created in cimbclicks in the next working day.
