I just checked my ccris record from bank negara, the balance transfer amount will show as outstanding amount, this actually will impact your credit score when you want to apply new cc, car loan or housing loan. So use BT wisely

Anyway, only BT from PB showing as outstanding, but not Aeon credit.

mine aeon also shows as outstanding in ccris...

Hmm..that is strange. I been using aeon BT for years and currently still have outstanding, but showing 0 outstanding.

The balance transfer only works when transfer to own CC at another bank right ? What if i want to transfer for another person's credit card ?

u can't do that, get the other person to do the BT unless you wanted to foot the bill for the other person

by right, bt only available for own cc from one bank to another.

Use PBB BT as it does not require credit card statement.
Then withdraw money from the bank to pay off others cc.. (subject to withdrawal surcharges)

It should works, right?

lol... i have an untested plan...

aeon cc statement (page 2) only have the information of cc number (but without cc owner's name) and transaction details (description and amount).
so you may try to submit aeon cc statement (only page 2) to mbb and see how it goes...
if they reject, you just say that you mistakenly taken the wrong statement to submit. lol...

But, by doing that..it would be disclosing too much details on your transaction to another bank..

But when they transfer fund through ibg/cheque/etc, they will put ur name and account number right?
If they put the wrong name, the transaction will be automatically void right?

I just called Maybank and ask the CS
They say to email mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my

yeah... actually i shared about this plan earlier but switched off the plan due to this reason too.

now i shared again to see you guys can modify something from here or not...
