So the current 0% BT only left Aeon and Public Bank?

I just submit application to BT 10k to PBB. not sure approved or not.. haha..

I still got remaining 5k on OCBC. Still thinking should I apply Aeon card to BT that..

Chill ~ The BT form itself stated 15 days.
If you're anxious, call AEON ask them check for you did HLB banked-in the cheque or not.
They can provide you with the cheque no. etc so you can liase with HLB yourself if you want...

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jun 30 2014, 11:47 AM)
at least wait 2-3 days for the delivery of the cheque then only call to check.
*
The payment reflected yesterday(30/6). Total ~12 days from my BT approved date (19/6).

Will i kena interest? My due date is on 27/6.. sad.gif

Anyone BT from HLB To AEON before?

My AEON BT approved on 19/6.
Cheque send out on 23/6
HLB supposed to received on 24/6.

But until now, HLB does not reflect any amount  cry.gif

Just share my experience to you guys. Do not BT From AEON to HLB due to till now, AEON still using cheque for the BT Transaction. When the cheque send to HLB, there is no specific department/person handling this cheque and eventually, your cheque just stuck.
I'd few times experience and each time its force to follow with HLB....

sure will kena late payment interest ~
the golden thumb is u r sure that the bt is unable to go thru before due date, pay the minimum urself first.
at least won't kena ccris and late payment interest.

u may call hlb asking them to waive off the late payment interest by giving reason they took long time time to clear the cheque so it's not ur problem but theirs. so they cannot penalty u for their fault.

if got pay min amount then will be no late payment.
about the interest, it's calculated daily but only a few days won't cost much.
not sure hlb when will reflect in statement but just call the customer service and find out.
if got then ask them to waive.

1)yes RHB needs statement
2)Yes you need to provide details, even the date the cheque was banked in and the location as well!

Once you know how to get the details of that BT payment, you can get interest free Cash Advance  with a RM2.00 IBG fee. But must have money ready in case your plan back fires.
i see ... that could be the reason why my own estimate was wrong, not mistake from Aeon , that BT approval was proper. Now, no point  we try to estimate or even ask the CS whether we can continue to apply the BT or not, just simply send in and see...  just BTed my RHB oustanding back to Aeon Watami.

Bro, how many days after BT approved payment reflected in RHB?

1st of all, I am also quite new to BT. My explanation might wrong.
Balance transfer means you transfer CC debt from Bank A to Bank B.

If I understand your meaning well, you got some outstanding balance in Aeon CC.
Assuming your debt is on Aeon CC, you want to transfer to Maybank. U need to have maybank CC 1st. So u apply BT from Maybank to transfer Aeon CC debt to it.

Most of taikor here just BT for 0% interest. They are cash rich, they just want to temporarily park their money elsewhere to earn some interest while enjoying 0% BT for 6 months.

Currently 0% BT just Aeon and Public Bank which means if you transfer any CC debt from other bank to Aeon/Public, you will entitled 6 months 0% interest.

I hope it clears your doubt.

BT to AEON will also earn points which normally aren't eligible using other banks.

BT back and forth yes, I did that for a while already.
Infact i used the zero fees BT to make PBB pay 10k and another 15k to Aeon Watami in a period of 2 weeks, and PBB still approved that. Thinking RHB 0% BT offer was closing on 30.6.14, I BT another RM7+k  credit from RHB to Watami as well.

Ended up i "overpay" (using money from PBB and RHB)  Aeon Watami by quite a big sum. I was hoping that overpayment can increase my limits for more BTs from other cards to Watami,  but alas, it was not allowed. That officer told me i already used up all the 80% of my CL, the  "over payment" made cannot used to do more BT!!

I didnt care, went ahead and still submitted more BTs applications.
And true enough my subsequent 2 BTs from MBB Amex and Citibank cc to Watami were rejected

I argued in that case i want my money back, but they asked about details of the payment which i could not answer.

They want to know how payment was made, cheque number, date, amount etc etc....imagine the trouble to call PBB and RHB to get those details.

But still got it done after some time, by then my next statement for Watami came and the amount was RM15+k, deducted that for sure, not enough, Aeon retained another RM1400+ (for upto date payment ,i supposed), and finally i got a refund of RM5+k. Yeah still free money advance RM5000+ from the bank (RHB to be exact)!

Yes you do get points for the "early settlement", i saw they gave me 15945 points for that statement which showed total current balance =RM0.
Lesson to learn:
1) dont over pay thinking you can use it to increase your BT limit if you have achieved max 80% CL
2)Over doing BT and have "over payment" with Watami - you can demand for refund. They charged  me RM2.00 for IBG to CIMB SA.

Latest update:  Just last week i summitted another BT (RM4500 from MBB AMex) to Watami and it was approved! I checked my total BTs amount with watami and my total BT instalments paid till that date, deduct that = my outstanding unpaid BT instalments. That amount was still more than 80% of my CL . ?Some error somewhere with Watami becos they approved my BT..Who cares, just submit more BTs till they are rejected, no harm trying.
*
So is there any RM30 "early settlement" fee imposed as stated in AEON's website- Fees and Charges Information? hmm.gif
" 0% Card Easy Payment Plan Cancellation/ Early Settlement Request
RM30 per request. "
