BT using Aeon CC can collect points at this moment(while promotion lasts).
Rm5000 transferred can collect points to exchange RM20 Aeon Voucher. Not bad for "free credit. No other Bank gives points for BT, not that I know of... Thumbs up for Aeon BT... thumbup.gif

If you don't own CIMB credit card yet, and plan for BT only once later. I think CIMB still is a better choice.
Let say RM10k, BT 6 month 0% interest, only pay 5% (about RM500 for 10k) for 5 months. Then the 6th months clear all the remaining (about RM7500). No interest if you able to make the payment as stated above. This what I heard from CIMB CC.

But listen to what BROTAN said is correct. BT only if you have enough cash and have confidence to settle the amount. If not, you should look for a financial/debt advisor, which is a better way to solve problem. There are a lot of them in this forum.  smile.gif

I think it's for new only. The term and condition there was new application after september 2012 and only can apply once. 60% of credit limit.

Yes, its for 'new' appication only, and its 60% of credit limit, that's the terms written BUT if you call their customer service and manage to speak to the card retention department stating you want cancel you card, then request them to offer you 0% - 6 mths BT, you might get it.
I did that and got it. Tq CIMB... icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

you are welcome

if do 1 time only, then it is no issue

but if it is continuously every month (which quite a lot of us do), then have to be extra careful

Just a heads up. Once you start to do BT, you will unconsciously want to do it again and again. It is like drug addiction  nod.gif

Can AEON perform BT on Amex, or is it limited to Visa or Mastercard only?

For example, I have my AEON CC and wanted to do BT to settle my Maybank AMEX card.

The reason that I ask this question is because the BT form contains 16 digits of columns for the targetted CC, while AMEX only has 15 digits.

Thanks.

Thanks brotan and namh for the confirmation. I heard it's only one week to complete the BT. Hopefully that's the case.
