I always use Booking.com
Had no problems with all my bookings for my recent SA trip. Booking.com in Amsterdam

I have booked so many nights with Bookings.. Only hiccups so far is that when hotel makes blunder.
One of my nights in Glasgow, we were given a double while we booked a triple. One of my nights in Melacca, bloody greedy hotel cancel out bookings without notification even tho we had booking confirmation just because walk in rate was way higher than booking advertised |

Booking is good! I have used them 2 times, but if you need cheaper hotels, you should use local travel company!
