Stick to Honda CVTF fluid even if there's a bunch of other brands wit some claim to be compatible.
If u need real technical info on CVT fitted City/Jazz, u might wanna check out TeamCity site. Plenty of gurus there.

QUOTE(psychicd @ Apr 3 2012, 12:57 PM) I almost used CVT oil on my '03 Jazz..then the mechanic asked me to change to ATF oil..that was about 6 month ago when I 1st time changing my gearbox oil..its a 2nd hand car..is it any effect if I used CVT oil on ATF gearbox..??thanks.. Depends on which model ur using coz there was a batch of 1.4 Jazz/Fit which uses a convensional g.box instead of CVT. These 4-speed units should b fine for 'typical' Honda approved ATF. CVTF n ATF r made up of different compounds, agents n additives coz both work differently in controlling d different types of stress, wear n tear in both types of transmission. If ur CVT unit is using ATF now, better do flushing to remove d wrong lube b4 any problems start. Note: Tis ATF in CVT issue happend to some initial City years ago coz d ppl servicin it wasnt aware of d different lubes. It resulted to some premature transmission failures to their unlucky owners.
