Lol. I actually bought the Lala because of the "fixed" CVT. Lusted over the Lancer for a long long time (while I had my ABangZhar), but I knew the CVT had cooling problems and was prone to failure. So put it off.
When I heard that Potong "fixed" this (and losing my Zhar), I started to consider the Lala. The 30k price diff (and the bloody P3 taking its sweet time to come out) simply sealed the deal.
it is not fixed, partially fixed. When I heard that Potong "fixed" this (and losing my Zhar), I started to consider the Lala. The 30k price diff (and the bloody P3 taking its sweet time to come out) simply sealed the deal.
the thing is not to leave the gear at 6 when cruising at high speed, once pecut until high speed then leave to D
also, our ratios follow that of a 2.5 litre car, which is the Taena and not the lower ratios than that of the Slyphy.
The advantage is that we get a more responsive drive, which a high final drive vs a lower final drive ratio on the slyphy.
the drawback is that we dont enjoy 110km/h at 1800rpm, instead we get 2150rpm at 110km/h
