normal 1 kenot..will leave white residue..the synthetic one leaves zero residue...can even use on our 'diffuser' to make it like showroom black again. thumbup.gif

Synthetic turtlewax? Don't tell me got grade asso like oil.

Planning to get ONR for washing later + also can use as quick detailler. Turtlewax + SierraGlow might not be wise, but for internal use hmm.

Ah. Been looking at the metallic silver chap-stick for some time, seems very convenient. Will try to see what stuff they have for inside use.

@sothy: Mentioned above edi wor. Planning to use ONR oni for the outside.

Let me know which OZ size you want? I would recommend you to take the 128oz, at least 1 or 2 units, but it depends on how frequently you wash your car..I would easily want 2 unit to last me at least 1 1/2 years of washing...of course not going to order so frequently too, so better have spare to standby...
*
For me 1x128oz bottle of ONR + Meguiar Mitt + Pack of 3 MF cloths (special pack price wor), confirm.

Tempted to get the OptiClean as well as a detailer/interior cleaner, but dialuted ONR prolly does as well lol.

Buy big size can sell to friends and relatives in coke bottles lol.

Whoi.. I no at tred for ONE day and you guys zhar me edi.

mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Anyway, just did my first service, 377 for full synth, all bells, whistles and magnets included - except for the nanomist dettol shiat. Now engine feels smooth again... like a virgin... touched, for the very first time... lol.

Potong SC in Raub was very efficient, professional and helpful - even for a small corner service shop. Told the shop boss about the loose aircon vents and he was quick to offer a warranty replacement - as he drives a Lala and has the same problem lol (but kena wait for the part lar). Reminded the tech not to overfill the lube and he did not. Didn't want the nanomist thing and they promptly complied.

Great Potong experience so far, even without the free coffee machine, the free nasi lemak and spacious lounges of a Toyota service centre. Only minus mark so far is the inability to bring your own lube, but oh well.

Oh, and no more Mitsu oil filters on this side of the country lol. Well, at least it's not the AMP shiat.

@Sothy: Any news on our bulk?

wat???? can claim warranty for the aircon vent? damn....i so jelly.....i wanna claim too.
*
Uh, why not? Manufacturing defect maa. Later wanna claim ECU because CANNOT STAGE TWO WORR.

Lol.

Parking in the hot sun, even with a foil deflector, apparently made the car hot enough to widen the space in part of the left top seam near the passanger side airbag (near the "airbag" word).

Now there's a small uneven gap that's not REALLY a problem, but is bugging me nonetheless lol. Holding back the feeling to buy a shorty5 dashboard mat and make everything shaggy and "soft-touch".

Oh and they have Osram NBPs in Raub for the same price you can get online and in all the Lala sizes, yummeh. Haveta settle my vinyl project first tho.

the aircon vent is mfg defect? damn....

Gap is normal eh. Wokeh then, one less thing to be annoyed about.

Mfg defect ma, come from factory lidat - and some don't even have thw problem. Not "design fault" okay what?

@all: for carting, need motorcycle helmet minumum eh? I just bantai their masam helmets lah (+ my trusty balaclava), kering edi after paying for vinyls and batang keras by then.

Was late to the SC appointment just now actually, so I whacked Lipis-Raub at about 140-160 (responsibly of course). After going through that, confirm I have to get Tables at one point + 17' tyres. The sus struggled even with the spring buffers and the CC5 made it worse wor.

Have to hand it to Potong though (and Mitsu, for the RISE body), the Lala never felt "unstable" even with the soft sus and the softer tyres - at no point did it succumb to under- or over-steering without ample warning in advance.

I bought a CAR because I wanted a CAR. Not a SPACE SHIP.

You can say all you want about the Lancers, but for me, throughout the years, the Lancer in its various forms and incarnations have always been to me one of two best examples of how a CAR is supposed to look like, especially a "perasan sporty and yet very practical and affordable" CAR.

The 3 series was the other. Minus the affordable part of course.

Lol. I actually bought the Lala because of the "fixed" CVT. Lusted over the Lancer for a long long time (while I had my ABangZhar), but I knew the CVT had cooling problems and was prone to failure. So put it off.

When I heard that Potong "fixed" this (and losing my Zhar), I started to consider the Lala. The 30k price diff (and the bloody P3 taking its sweet time to come out) simply sealed the deal.

it is not fixed, partially fixed.

the thing is not to leave the gear at 6 when cruising at high speed, once pecut until high speed then leave to D

also, our ratios follow that of a 2.5 litre car, which is the Taena and not the lower ratios than that of the Slyphy.

The advantage is that we get a more responsive drive, which a high final drive vs a lower final drive ratio on the slyphy.

the drawback is that we dont enjoy 110km/h at 1800rpm, instead we get 2150rpm at 110km/h
*
Thus the inverted commas: "fixed".

Leaving at 6 = overheat jor? I crappy manual driver, only use shifters to drop gears when I need a burst of accel, quickly after I potong or kejar or tarpao I drop back into D because I actually trust the INVECS-III more then my fingers lol.

I always forget about SHIFTING UP in sports mode hahahaha.

At least you shift too fast. I shift like I have a blardy VTEC under the hood: far far too late lol.

Miss the powerband asso no use what.

But dropping gear, potong, seamlessly go back to D with the hands NEVER leaving the steering wheel is a hidden pleasure lol.

Nah those Lansi owners all oni rike to call us that. Becoz they all bought Lansi GT (gagal tarpao) maa, then all burt hurt edi.

Seriously, I never understood why they have to be so... bothered... by the Lala. Sure we get stuff that even they don't have, for less, but why be such a sore loser about it?

You all CBU maa, we all Potong kasi bina lol. In the end it's the same car and you pay more for better fitting and a Japanese brand mark. That's your choice what?

All this pirate, crap copy, ludah ludah, ECU stage 2 talk really shows that SOME of these guys are regretting their choice wad. You regret why take it out on us?
