TS, you've learnt your lesson in being an easy con victim. Now, IMO, it's your turn to teach the con artist a lesson. This is obviously not his first time, and all his "I just do it because social engineering,it's fun to exploit and learn and etc" bullshit contradicts with his other posts on the US forums (where he point blank laughed in the face of his victims)

Go ahead with clearing your name, but in the end remember to make a police report as well. I'm not to sure, but do consult your lawyers about suing the con artist for defamation as well to at least get back all the lawyer fees incurred in order to get the US forum to delete the thread.

If it was me, and I had the finances, I will sue the US forum AND the con artist kao kao, no chance given. Being a victim of a scam doesn't make it right to defame someone when all the proof is displayed so nicely for you, and being a stupid 16 year old doesn't make it right to scam anyone.
