Dear all,
Need some feedback from forumers here.
I intend to paint my main door white.
Am wondering if anyone can recommend which brand or type of paint to use so it does not turn yellow so quickly?
I do understand that ALL white paint, esp. oil based paint, does yellow over time... just looking for something that doesn't turn so quick.
Thanks in advance.
Regards!

I suggest you all go to those hardware shop who sell custom colour paint, and buy the paint base without any colour pigment in it. This shall give your a more lasting white paint.

In case anyone's interested, there is a supposedly new product from Nippon from their Hydro range... Hydro Gloss and Hydro Matt, depending on the finish you want. This paint is water based which supposely none or much reduced yellowing effect. From what research, I've done ... it is mainly the oil in oil based gloss paints that yellow over time. Correct me if I'm wrong. I did not use this paint because the shop I was buying all my paints from, did not stock this paint yet. Seems it's still new and not many requests for it. I ended up using their Odourlite Soft Matt finish gloss paint... see how long before it yellows lah... hopefully at least 3-5 years away. Thanks for all the feedback here, guys!
