1. Overheat
2. Apps take up more space
3. No LTE support in Malaysia
4. Just slight improvements over Ipad 2
5. Poor build compared to ipad 2 - check out the drop test video ipad 2 vs the new ipad

I only take issues with the following:

1. Overheat - try to understand what this means first before using it so lightly, and check out the link I posted in the overheat thread. Getting a bit warm during usage is not the same as overheating

3. No LTE support - its not just Malaysia, actually many regions in the world don't have LTE, that's why it's backwards compatible, it's the same even if you buy new smartphones with LTE support

4. Slight improvements over iPad 2 - having used both extensively, it's not "slight" at all, but if you only use your iPad to read ebooks or surf the web, I agree you probably don't need it.

Bottom line, I think the main factor is budget la, for most people. If you can afford it (by offloading your iPad 2, perhaps), then it's worth it.

EDIT: thinking about it some more, I think there's 2 reasons more why some people might not want to get it, namely

i. Weight. We know that its a bit heavier for the new model, for some people this means it's not worth getting, for example my gf was not interested in the new model at all, but prefers the iPad 2. For her uses, it makes more sense.

ii. Mobile hotspot. As far as I know, only the Verizon models in the US (4g) have this feature. Since even the Singapore models don't have this option visible in the current iOS (one of teh first things I checked tongue.gif ) I would guess the Malaysian models will not have it either. If its important to you, this could be a factor ( unless you jailbreak la, I mean native iOS)
