word of advice, be sure to figure out all your wiring before doing your plaster ceiling eg like AC, TV, Astro and lights

Depends on your area size and what you usually do in your living room. You need at least 4 downlights but don't restrict yourself to downlights only. Be creative, there are many lightings which are suitable for living room with different functionality.

You can just go to google and type 'ambient lighting for living room'. Another advice. Don't get chandeliers. Unless you want to devote your entire life cleaning it as they get dusty so easily.

Today i went to JB around Bukit Indah to search Lighting and furniture. There are too many shops to check the design and price. Can anyone recommend the best outlets and sincere contractor that i can get a quotes for ceiling,lighting, cabinet and etc....
