those who say maxis no quota is basically BS then... celcom, when exceeded, is also super slow.

QUOTE(asstoash @ Jul 12 2012, 11:18 AM) i`m throwing away my skmm simcard....thats it.always disconnect...and the most annoying thing is it always redirect me to maxis portal...damn!! i need to refresh page 5-10 times before can access any website. beside that maxis skmm reach data quota very fast....sad...... agree. although fast, it's not 100% stable. every time we connect, redirect to maxis website. |

QUOTE(Eguy1314 @ Jul 13 2012, 12:48 PM) I thought Maxis SKMM suppose to be unlimited , I mean after passed quota, just kena throttled , however, i use and use until a massage popped out said I exceeded the limit of usage, if i wanna continue, extra fees will be charge. message pop up after 700MB? by ignoring the message, you still can online, right?it's prepaid system. how to charge extra? if charging extra, it's prepaid+postpaid already. |

QUOTE(coolstore @ Jul 15 2012, 06:55 PM) i'm fine with maxis controlling the vpn. the speed (ul & dl) & ping time is so much faster than celcom. but the way every maxis skmm connection leads to a few minutes of useless idling period on the maxis portal is just damn stupid. |

When capped, maxis skmm is slower than celcom. So slow that the website failed to load...at least celcom still can load part of the page.
Bye bye maxis skmm. I'm not gonna reload you. Continue surfing with capped celcom. This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Jul 24 2012, 09:56 PM |

QUOTE(corallinkz @ Sep 4 2012, 05:06 PM) So mxs skmm is still working with rfreshed method to get unlimited quote after reach the limit right? maxis skmm is unlimited data but limited speed. can you live with download speed of 3KBps? if yes, you're good to go. if you're used to dial up internet, you'll be fine.Added on September 4, 2012, 8:59 pmI've heard on the radio news that the government will announce a new and cheap internet package for the poor or rural area...sth like 1M'sia broadband package for as low as RM20 & RM38. http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v6/newsindex.php?id=691867 QUOTE The wireless network provides a minimum speed rate of 512kbps with 1GB capacity, while the wired network provides a minimum rate of 384kbps with unlimited capacity. I hope the RM38 unlimited capacity is unlimited speed too. If yes, here I come. This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Sep 4 2012, 09:57 PM |
