agree. although fast, it's not 100% stable. every time we connect, redirect to maxis website.

it's prepaid system. how to charge extra? if charging extra, it's prepaid+postpaid already.

i'm fine with maxis controlling the vpn. the speed (ul & dl) & ping time is so much faster than celcom. but the way every maxis skmm connection leads to a few minutes of useless idling period on the maxis portal is just damn stupid.

When capped, maxis skmm is slower than celcom. So slow that the website failed to load...at least celcom still can load part of the page.

I just reloaded and buy the 30 days 700MB plan for RM25. In my status, it shows INPROGESS. How long do you guys have to wait? I'm still waiting for the SMS confirmation.

first, i use my PC with 3g modem, go to maxis portal to topup. but it does NOT work. so i topup using my handphone.

after topup, i use the PC again (with 3g modem) to buy the skmm 30days plan. wait for a while but still in progress. So I take out the SIM card and put it into my handphone again...waiting for the SMS.

....after 40 minutes, got the SMS.

maxis skmm is unlimited data but limited speed. can you live with download speed of 3KBps? if yes, you're good to go. if you're used to dial up internet, you'll be fine.
