The latency's pretty okay. 200-280 ms using screamyx. Sometimes jumps to 500 when they have server issue or screamyx doing screamyx stuff.

Also don't let those "P2W!!!" guys scare you from the game, you can get patron with ingame gold. I just did a few weeks of planting in public land and running trade runs and got my patron using ingame gold.
