received the rubber sealed on Saturday.
the quality looks very good, just like original one.

after install, the wind sound really reduce a lot, driving 180kmh sound jz like 100kmh.

last weekend i DIY door rubber seal of D and P shape to further improve the poor cabin NVH of this new Vios.

This is what i did:

one full round of small D along the original rubber for all 4 doors:


P seal on the bottom of all 4 doors:



P seal in between each front door hinge:


paid like RM100+ for it and DIY for like 2.5hours.

the overall result after driving for few days:
1. The road noise is reduced by around 20-30% i guess.
2. Wind noise reduced around the same as above 20-30%.
3. Door closing feels more subtle than before

Due to the gap is huge between door metal and the car body rubber, i believe we could apply big D instead of the recommended small D seal.

Guess its a small gesture that helps to improve the cabin comfort. Not a bad product after all.
