According to Hardwarezone.com.my, Asus just release or launch their new ROG Desktop in Malaysia few days ago
The price tag is RM 5999 as it's written on the article

Here's the spec (summarize)

ASUS ROG Tytan CG8565:

CPU – Intel Core i7-2600K Quad Core (3.40GHz, 8M Cache)
Chipset – Intel Z68 Express Chipset
Memory – 8GB DDR3-1600 4G x2 (4x DIMMS)
VGA – NVIDIA GeForce GTX560 Ti 1GB GDDR5 (DVI / Mini HDMI / D-Sub)
RRP – RM5,999

Do keep in mind Asus says it comes with their gaming keyboard and mouse include in the price given

Dont you think it's an overpriced product???
i mean common only GTX 560Ti , i7 , 8GB , bl;u ray and stuff cost around RM 6000

It is obviously way overpriced.
For RM6000 you can build a rig so much more powerful than the listed specs.

Even throw in a 7970 and theres still balance.

how big is the hdd? Bluray burner or reader only?
i7 2600K + 2x 1tb WD black + 560Ti + 8GB ram + cosair 650W + bluray RW + 23.6" samsung LED.= slightly lower than 5K to tapao anything, excluding casing.

I think you guys are missing the point here.

for RM 5,999 you get everything assembled for you, OS installed for you - all delivered to your house. Comes with water-cooling and mechanical keyboard.

you can't compare it with DIY because such setup is to spare you the time and hassle, and you pay to get it assembled and has 3 years warranty, and also instant overclocking.

just because we can DIY doesn't mean it's overpriced. smile.gif some people willing to spend time to setup to lower cost. others willing to pay more to skip the assembly part.
