QUOTE(sonyman @ Mar 25 2012, 09:29 PM) so it has push start engine but no keyless entry? funny, weird. mean you still got to take the key out to unlock the car. sad sad. why got this not that. half hearted design. yup. and you still need to slot in the key before you can start the engine with the push of the button. |

QUOTE(37867 @ Mar 27 2012, 12:18 AM) Seriously launch car need PM? Failed marketing strategy. Should have launch the car during F1 in front of 300million viewers. Biggest motoring event to launch a new car. if it was launched during the power of 1 event, it should be even better because it will be the real crowd puller. This post has been edited by V12Kompressor: Mar 27 2012, 01:27 AM |

figures on brochure can be understated or overstated depending on manufacturer.
The Saga 1.3 FLX has a 0-100 of 14.5 sec printed on brochure, but on youtube there's already one doing 0-100 around 13 sec. |

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Mar 31 2012, 09:43 PM) the point is, 1.6 flx cant match the 1.5 but heavier honda city, which makes the statement of 6% powerloss at the CVT highly doubtful. if everything is based on brochure spec alone, then those car magazine like EVO, Autocar etc don't need to do head to head shoot out already. Furthermore manufacturer normally play around with different variables to obtain their desired result, including the "6% powerloss part". I'm not against the City in this case, but there are something not very right in the way you put everything into judgement (based on brochures spec alone). |

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Mar 31 2012, 09:58 PM) then based on what? i believe kerb weight, engine output is fairly consistent. what we are trying to discuss here is the powerloss, which doesnt make sense ya, i do find the 6% part is kinda BS. It could be higher. just be frank la.. 6% powerloss is too good to be true. but then my point is, you cant just pull figures from the brochure alone to compare. Best way is by getting three of these two cars without any single mods on them and strap them on a dyno and get the average figure. Who knows, the City 0-100 figure is maybe tested in the factory using 185/60/R13 tires. |

QUOTE(razkal @ Apr 2 2012, 12:22 AM) Why not true? Same as leather jacket. You have it to warm up your body. I think that is the true purpose of leather. that depends on the type of leather used. Good leather has better breathability than other types of leather. Most of the cheap leather seats in cars are made from bycast leather, which is a little bit of leather mixed with PU, hence it traps heat. |
