to gauge the cfe engine.. seems like there is quite a number of issue ppl r reporting.

abs module and cvt got sounds when hit bump and also something about (ocv valve, one way valve, then something about oil leakage from the vvt system) <- i group the last one is because its all the same issue but no one really knows the real cause

then based on what? i believe kerb weight, engine output is fairly consistent. what we are trying to discuss here is the powerloss, which doesnt make sense

just be frank la.. 6% powerloss is too good to be true.

Actually it is better not to use it on windscreen. The reason is because if you happened to drop inside the water, how are you going to survive, you cant even open the door so the only way is to break the window and chow, now you have security tinted windscreen, how are you going to break it. No way, you are going to die inside the car but before that, let's just open the air-cond and your music to listen to.

Also, the robbery normally break your side windows and take ur item and just run away, they wont or hardly break your windscreen because there's a big distance as your car hood is there, they might have to climb to get inside the cockpit of the car.

Good thinking..& i also thought about this scenario (touch wood) before i decided to install the security tint. So I always brought along a heavy steering lock & a small rambo knife..hopefully i have enough time (& strength) to slash/tear the tint film & smash the window/windshield using the heavy steering lock. Ya..i have to agree that this is the worst case scenario that we should think of.

By the way..i've heard or read somewhere before..it is much easier to break a window with a security tint if we smash it from inside rather than outside..is it proven? Can anybody shed some light about this?
