ampang line's train looks older

Ampang line speedo meter got 80km/h highest but can only speed at 70+ top

after midnight, they will activate NOS and vroom vroom until 500km/h

KLIA Transit ? same also 80 kilo.

KLIA Transit is 160 km/h.

How fast is Monorail & KTM?

At last! Kampung already been fixed to public transportation..thnx to.. Oh wait~ Kampung no bot like polaris..

Monorail, I think it is 60 km/h.

KTM Komuter is 120 km/h, however that speed only reachable in sections such as Tg Malim-Rawang and Batang Benar to Labu.

wont derail? at that type of speed, what magnet u got also can derail.

No "I Think", here we want facts. How fast can monorail go?

I hear KLIA line can go 120kph.

I only have exact data on design speed, not operational speed. If design speed, it is 80 km/h. However, sources on internet suggests, the operational speed is 60 km/h.

For KLIA Ekspres/Transit, it is not 120 km/h. It is 160 km/h.

you mean right away train set off , speed continued reach 160km/h in a couple minute ? or only from station to station that quite have some distance like BTS to PUTRA ~

Maximum speed, not the average speed.

Also, the speed depends on which section it travels on.

i used to take the old komuter..after 10 o'clock, very few people, driver drive fast2..scared if the train will thrown out during cornering..

So KLIA designed top speed is how much?

80kmh for monorail is quite fast. Not wonder can always feel the G-Force near KL Sentral.

Maximum speed, I refer to those LRT lines.

KLIA train maximum design speed is 176 km/h, but of course operationally, it is 160 km/h.

So meaning the trains are driven close to designed to speed. Talk about pushing it to the limit.

For cars they can go up to 200km/h but we only allowed to drive til 110km/h.

What about the long range train, is it also 120km/h?

Actually for LRT, 80 km/h is very standard speed, just like SMRT or MTR etc.

For ETS, the long distance KTM electric train to Ipoh, the maximum operation speed is 140 km/h. However, the design speed is 160 km/h and actually, Rawang-Ipoh is designed for 160.

if train can go 300km/h in msia, i think many ppl will sell their car and bike to use train

300km/h, if no stop ok, if stop every stop start stop don't think can reach 300km/h.
