QUOTE(AiRBooM @ Dec 8 2005, 10:12 PM) are u sure u got no problem with this? rm150 -> 512 kbps(mango.net) rm88-> 1mb (streamyx) My place was under Maxis line.. that's y can't apply for streamyx... if not..i would go for that long long time ago... can consider 3G service too. cause Maxis 3G service only RM120.

latency is going to be a killer...+ no p2p..I would pay RM 150 then RM 120 + extras for 384Kbps...

QUOTE d FUSION package is nice reli got 10Gbps ah??
3mb for corporate account is more than enough. They shape our traffic. Corporate is allowed even hit more than that (FOC). However it's not gurantee. Our network(home) is best effort basis. Even they are using the same trunk to go out. Also why you need 10 gig.

a lot things i want to say about time.net.....
they have good custumer service, custumer email always being reply and fast...
have a lot innovative idea ....the 1st broadband phone in m'sia,1st post pay voip for consumer.....
but their decision making staft.....when tmnet being force to open its network for other isp to provide dsl, time dont use this chance like jaring, instead, they want become mvno, didn't they forgot why they sold out 017?moreever,now they are facing lost, but they want to bit for the high cost required 3G....
they are telco just like telecom, they also have fiber optic network,if they serious to offer dsl,i sure they have more room to win than jaring.

QUOTE(hardyboyz888 @ Dec 9 2005, 10:24 PM) 10 gig to download porns eh..? Just jokin.. 10gbps is really really too much... 10g will allow high quality multimedia and large software being up and download and or share. for enjoy,it will change your live, example hdtv and real dvd quality radio for work, just upload your work to your boss server, instead the old fashion burn in cd or dvd. even a 100g also not a too much in the computer world. howewer, for many years,i think 1g will remain be a national speed for consumer user.

Telco have the equal access agreement. All of them should take advantage of this. It'll benefit them and better yet, we as consumer will get a better service and wider choice.
I am waiting for wired broadband for quite sometime already, but seems that I'm still stuck with wireless and most of the time it's kinda useless. For now I'll take whatever provider that can provide me a wired broadband. It really makes me wonder why doesn't TIME grab this golden opportunity and compete with other providers?

QUOTE(prasys @ Dec 8 2005, 11:28 AM) I have to agree with you. Bear in mind , even at slower speeds..They allow p2p , which is a plus point...compared to Jaring Wireless (even you can download at speeds up to 200Kb/s , and sometimes 0Kb/s...you can't use BitTorrent) Now Jaring wireless can use p2p, maybe they lost out customers because they banned this last time. Currently one of my friend is using, until now the speed is quite nice. TIMENet seems too expensive for me.

Ahh.. TIMENet's HomeNET is SDSL which the download/upload is at the same speed.. Sure it'll be more expensive.. Jaring Wireless can use p2p..? Shocking news...

P/S : Next time don't double post ler.. You can edit your post. I think they sell off TimeCell because they think they couldn't compete with the big players like Celcom and Maxis.. they could use the money to cover their losses.. If I'm not mistaken, Time is indirectly govt owned company.. (couldn't quite rmb I think its through Khazanah Nasional).. something like Proton.. even if they make losses, they'll just look for govt to fund them.. I've read reports earlier that TimeNet is planning to merge with Jaring?
