long time didnt been here ..
Guys .. i got a question .. recently i installed an android game Scramble from Play Store .. 1st problem .. the game keep draining my batt very fast .. it just normal game .. then recently whenever i play the game suddenly my SGW will shutdown because it detected no batt at all.. i still got around 50%-60% batt .. when i turn it on .. it detect 0% .. then i off again and turn on again then it will detect original batt count 60% .. Is it because of the game or because of my batt? What should i do? Help please ... |

QUOTE(deejay5 @ Aug 4 2012, 05:10 PM) with the best rating ofcourse haha.. idk much about battery calibration but it replace ur old batt stat to a new one. i calibrate whenever i flash to a new rom or firmware. Already check at mobile shop.. they said because of battery only.. now the battery is kembung.. huhu!! maybe because i always charged it night until morning they said .. Question : 1) Does Samsung cover battery in warranty? 2) How much is original / faked SGW battery cost? |

QUOTE(deejay5 @ Aug 4 2012, 09:16 PM) warranty, yes, i heard only for 6 months. warranty for phone is 1 year. thx bro .. u been very helpful ..but, in ur case i think no, refer to this http://www.samsung.com/my/support/warranty...POLICY.WARRANTY dunno price for original battery but im guessing about rm100. fake ones (AA?) are about rm30-rm50. might as well get high capacity rm50-rm70. |

QUOTE(emkay @ Aug 14 2012, 03:50 PM) From what I read, one can't really overcharge modern smartphone batteries becoz there is circuitry to prevent that. But one must not do is to drain the battery to 0% coz that will damage it. if u overcharged more than 8 hours with WIFI on .. i think the batt going to be dead |

QUOTE(changsheng12 @ Dec 15 2012, 02:36 PM) Hope you don't go to outside shop for root service. They will probably root your phone and install something then the price will be random because it's actually free if you do it yourself. wow.. seems so easy .. thx a lot.. will do it ..A simple guide to root your phone: 1. Download http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47601401/update.zip and put inside internal memory. 2. Boot into recovery by switching off your phone then turn it on with Power button+ Volume up + Home button. Once samsung logo appeared, release Power button. As soon as you see the Android with the box, release the Home- and Volume Up-button. Then hit the menu button. 3. You will see a menu and navigate up and down with volume up and down buttons. Choose 'apply sdcard:update.zip' and select it with home button. Choose the update.zip in your internal memory. 4. Wait a while and it should be done. Choose reboot system now and you are now rooted. There should be an app call 'superuser'. Don't do anything to it, just leave it there. Good luck. after root .. how to remove unnecessary application like AccuWeather,Social Media etc? and how to set so that when we install games that have large files direct to external sd card not to internal memory. |

QUOTE(changsheng12 @ Dec 16 2012, 08:58 PM) To freeze those unnecessary apps, you will need Titanium Backup. Download it from internet as it's a paid app on play store. There is a function call Freeze in Titanium backup. thx bro .. very much Here's a list of apps that can be freeze: Accuweather Allshare Buddies Now Days Clock Digital Clock Dual Clock Game Hub Home Screen Tips Maps News and Weather Samsung Apps SNS SNS Disclaimer SNSAccountFB SNSAccountLi SNSAccountMS SNSAccountTW Social Hub Swype Yahoo Finance And for the memory problem, swapping your internal and external sd would be the best. Here's again with a simple guide to swapping memory (Only for gingerbread) : 1. Install titanium backup. 2. Backup all User app only...don't backup system apps ! (using titanium backup) 3. Download & Install SwapSD : http://goo.gl/yBms4 4. Open SwapSD press Swap then Reboot. 5. For Unswap just press Default then Reboot. 6. After swap, restore your apps using Titanium backup(restore only USER APPS WITH DATA, NO SYSTEM APPS!) 7. Done Good luck. |
