Hi all,just wanna ask,my galaxy w suddenly going strange,it just suddenly shut off & restart,after that it stuck at samsung gt-8150 logo,then it will immediately black out and restart again.

This process doing again n again.It wont boot in into android at all.
Booting into recovery also cannot.
My phone is using CWM 10.1

isit my phone already bricked or damaged?

That means yours might be hard bricked already.. Either buy a USB jig to jump back to recovery mode, or send for repair..

That means your phone got stuck in the bootlop already, if u can still go into cwm that means you're still safe to re-flash it with odin. Steps you could try is:

1. Select "wipe data / factory reset"
2. Go to "mounts & storage" and select "format /system". This is extremely important!!
3. Under the same menu, format /sdcard0 (be careful NOT to format /sdcard1 by mistake)
4. Install the ROM (from the external sd)
5. Install Gapps (from the external sd)
6. Reboot phone

If all the above cannot maybe re-flashing back to Touchwiz....

Anyway Imma selling my mum's Samsung Galaxy W for her, if anyone is interested...

Can still go to Download mode ? If yes flash back stock ROM and start all over again using a suitable ROM

I would like to update my wife galaxy w to official 2.3.6 but most of the file can't be download since most of them are at hotfile. Anybody can share with me the file needed?

I am selling this phone, still no luck lol

Had my Galaxy W flashed to CM11 (4.4.2), KK Beam Kat v.9 with HurtSky's latest kernel for CNY.

Everything is fast, battery life is superb for a phone that runs on 100% to cope with modern apps with a 3rd party battery.

Able to get 5-6 hours of WiFi tethering

Just flashed CM11 by arco yesterday, I must say, it seems really smooth, and the interface is rather cleaner looking compared to 4.2. Just happy with it.

my W nowdays batt drain like hell .. and RAM eat up a lot .. no games install .. only basic app like FB,twitter, IG, Youtube, Camera app etc ..

is there any easy way to root this phone ..
someone told me my W got virus thats why the body quickly heated up when using and RAM is eating like crazy ..

Anyone still using this phone lol? Just bought second hand one RM210 as secondary phone. Rooted with Jelly Bean 4.3.1. I feel it was much more smoother compared to KitKat ROM's...
