forgot to ask, is this unit compatible with latest Maxis 4G LTE? I don't expect full 42Mbps speed, but at least it must be able to work in 3.6Mbps area where Maxis are able to provide based on their network coverage check from the website. And I need it to be able to work in GSM900 Mhz HSPA+ wireless, older models seem to be working in 2100Mhz only.

B683 is only HSPA+ 28.8Mbps, therefore it is impossible to be compatible with Maxis 4G LTE.

If you want something which supports LTE, you can go for our Huawei B593 100Mbps, it is unlocked for all network provider worldwide.

GSM is a different standard, you will only be able to achieve a maximum of 236.8Kbps on EDGE.

We believe you meant 900MHz on UMTS/3G earlier, do correct us if we are wrong.

Our units are capable delivering speeds as the maximum stated on our website and by the respective manufacturer.

However the speed is subject to infrastructure by the network provider at your area.

Hi, already went to Huawei website for user manual and I found out that B970B can connect to the normal house phone via RJ11 for making a call, right ?

Can you update here once you've received the stock? It looks like my requirement and budget suits B970B/B660 compared to B683
