A game doesn't necessarily have to be natively rendered at retina display's resolution to make use of those extra pixels.

Take example of console's games development as of late (mostly on PS3 and XBOX360), lots of superb-looking newer games aren't even natively rendered at 720p, not to say full HD (1080p). But then, upscaled appropriately by the hardware itself (with some magic dust involved), the game looks HD enough on 1080p resolution.

So you can see, to have a game rendered on full resolution or not is actually up to the game's design choice. If it's a simple game that won't tax much resources, then obviously it will be retina-native all the way.

not going to convert my entire file server into apple format, so even the new ipad aka ipad 3 also unable to play HD or FullHD movie smoothly, ok thank you. ipad 3 sucks =P

in a big company there is no such thing as unable to do, as long as they willing to throw money into it, they can employ any expert or even buy over a company or division and create their own version of chip.

nope.. rooting have different purpose than jailbreak.. no no no.. they are different.. i dont think i need to say more on this, as it has been discussed many times elsewhere.. i use both android and ios, i know both environment pretty well..

regarding the pricing and storage capacity, simple, they could just standardize the price, and let consumer to choose either to expand the memory storage later. it is because also there is a wide range of microSD card out there, so why not give consumer choices of what suites them.

who said samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the best selling model for Android device? LOL. there is a wide range of choices out there. as for myself, i'm using SG Tab 7.7.. it got everything i need, decent camera, decent display (super amoled plus), expandable storage, 3G and phone funtionality, and i bought it at RM1750, way cheaper than the 3G version of ipad. but, i have to admit, the OS is not as smooth as iOS (unless if i root to enhance its performance<< thats the perpose of rooting, not to install pirated apps.. LOL ).. so, i wish Apple as opened as android environment, then i would not look back to other brand.

Yes very true. So don't buy cheap android phone like galaxy s... Buy at least S2, Note, Razr, or Nexus.

Agree on that, rooting for Android is for performance tweak + customize tweak. Not for illegal pirated apps. Pirated apps no need any root access.

Actually Apple product always superb, that is not deniable. Just it not as opened as Android environment.

Galaxy S is quite famous that time, but it is a poor design phone, it is slow, too much slow, even slower than Google Nexus One or HTC Desire that time. It just too slow and not smooth nor-matter you pick which ROM on it.

Just some small issue still buzz me whether want to buy it or not (like video support, no USB as storage, that troublesome iTunes - I hate iTunes), I need a decent touch pad, for performance wise, seems only new iPad fulfill me. None of Android tab at the moment I like and fulfill my needs.
