QUOTE(bullleh @ Feb 24 2014, 06:12 PM)
Hi Andrew,

Can you confirm, as for Celcom 1Malaysia plan, the default maximum speed is 1.5Mbps (Ookla Speedtest).
But by using this LTE-enabled modem i.e HUAWEI E5776, how much the maximum gained speed can be increased (using this Celcom 1Malaysia)?

Currently i'm using Huawei E5331 and Huawei E355 but apparently the maximum gained D/L speed is 1.5Mbps (Ookla Speedtest, with actual speedtest is around 200kb ++).
Disappointingly, using Sierra At&T Aircard 764S (LTE-enabled 100Mbps) also giving the similar result as aforementioned.
Note: The sim for the Celcom 1Malaysia plan has 4G LTE activated plan.

Speedtest location were varies, but i did a speedtest in McDonald Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam (as benchmark HSDPA/HSUPA point or location area reference) also giving the similar result.
Previously was using Maxis Biz68 & BES68 with the aforementioned modems but results were excellent (with maximum 7Mbps), until Maxis capped to 4GB.  cry.gif

Should HUAWEI E5776 can really make a significant difference for this Celcom 1Malaysia plan, i would be so enthusiastic to reserve a unit.  brows.gif

Look forward to your reply soon!  nod.gif

Thanks & Best Regards..  smile.gif

Hi there

We are told that Celcom subscribers will be enjoying free LTE speeds till end of the year.

We cannot confirm about the Celcom 1Malaysia SIM's speed as we don't supply it.

Could you reconfirm the model of your Sierra unit as we believe there is no 764S available.

You are welcome to drop by our office at Bandar Sunway to test with your SIM card prior to purchase in order to clarify your benefit of doubt.

whats the difference between HUAWEI E5776 MiFi Modem Router (LTE Ready) @ NEW UNIT rm450 with rm600 apart from warranty period?btw pm me best and latest price for huawei e5776s-32 no telco brand on it.

Hi there

Huawei E5776s-32 is with original packaging and 1 year warranty at RM600
Link: http://andrewsestore.com/store/huawei-e577...router-new.html

Huawei E5776s-601 is with generic packaging and with 6 months warranty at RM450
Link: http://andrewsestore.com/store/huawei-e577...ter-gp-new.html

Huawei E5776s-32 supports many LTE FDD frequencies which are widely used in many other countries comparing to Huawei E5776s-601.

However both supports our local LTE FDD 2600/1800 MHz frequencies.

Both the above with Huawei logo.
