QUOTE(Silencers @ May 14 2012, 11:20 AM) I'm guessing Malaysia is now exotic by Japanese standards. Anime has featured US/Europe/China/India so often I guess they just got tired of it. got this anime called Windy Tales that featured Malacca. But the scenery of Malacca pictured in the anime is just too...historical like in 1950s. Probably because they also knew that Malacca IS 'bandar bersejarah' eventhough nowadays Malacca already well developed and became a 'bandaraya'. |

I dunno why the hell when I see Hotarou, it reminds me of that protagonist from Ao no Exorcist. Was it due to the similar hairstyle?

QUOTE(FlameReaper @ Jul 10 2012, 11:04 AM) I'm more interested in lying back drinking my tea while watching this, if you're talking about being laidback. Anime is serious business yo. From the production staff, quality, story, character, referrence, seiyuu, etc. etc. etc. There were too many expectations of something more energetic happening, but the motif of the show itself isn't supposed to bring that feel. The first major indication of that is the very existence of Oreki as the protagonist and his motto. So relax, lie back on your chair, maybe with a cup of tea, and enjoy the show as it unfolds. |
