I thought there would be a mystery organization of MIB that would suddenly kidnap Houtarou and feed him an experimental drug that supposed to kill him but instead turn him into a little boy.
So now Shinichi Houtarou spend 100 episodes solving little mysteries in primary school, but undercover he is discovering the mysteries of the secret HYOUKA organization that has infiltrated the upper echelons of school administration.

I dunno why the hell when I see Hotarou, it reminds me of that protagonist from Ao no Exorcist. Was it due to the similar hairstyle?
